WOW. Insane game for a game jam. This is incredible. How polished this game is and the entire ui and atmosphere. Looks and Sound and Gameplay on point. Really enjoyed this. Really well done!

Wonderful game! Very impressive amount of polish! Loved the diegetic UI dials on the monitor itself.

My eyes are getting blurry, this is a great game.

Cool game!

This is such a unique take on the theme!! I love how you interpreted “one” not as “one person,” but as the actual number 1. The artwork is amazing too. I’m honestly curious how you created this style haha. It’s also really interesting to see the number 1 represented in so many different ways. I couldn’t help but play all the way to the end!

Developer

Wow the vibes of our games clash so much I didn't expect you to swing by HAHA thanks for taking the time to check us out! Your game's take on the theme was the most refreshing I've seen, especially so being one of the few ones with a trust-related ending to its story. It was so interesting having "don't trust your dates" gamified, especially having done that a lot IRL 😂

Submitted(+1)

Hahaha thank you!! Let’s both keep creating and improving! It’s honestly so fun to see completely different interpretations of the same theme in a game jam. That’s one of my favorite things about jams! 🥳

this looks amazing... but I can't see anything but the acknowledge screen, 1 tried pressing everything 1 could think of... could I please have some help?

Developer

Does pressing Esc work?

Developer

Yes, sorry, when we added the inbox page, we didn't add a back button so you just need to press esc (outside of full screen) to get out of the inbox.

Submitted

I tried that... but I can try again! (sorry, I worded that wrong, what I should have said is that no other messages are popping up after the acknowledge one)

Developer(+1)

Ohh the flow should be inbox -> onboarding -> offline or online shift depending on on single or multiplayer. After onboarding you'll get another email and after each shift you'll get an email. Thanks for letting us know the issues!

I didn't realize all of the different ways 1 could be hidden, this game now makes me look at 1s differently. The multiplayer mode is extremely fun and the easter eggs, chefs kiss. Also the get locked in on my seat was great. I hope to one day make a game as fun as this.

Loved the easter eggs :D Love the game :D
I endeavor to get faster at noticing the 1s.... I will reach the top of the leaderboard one day

It is so funny how those classic terminals really defined an era, complete with all the nostalgic beeps and sounds! You have done a fantastic job capturing that retro atmosphere. I genuinely love playing your game.

Holy polish! The settings menu buttons on the bottom of the TV screen are amazing! I really liked this game, amazing take on the theme! I would love to see more of this, maybe with some expanded features or story to expand the universe that you created within the snippets of dialogue and such. The text is hilarious and reminds me of the Stanly Parable and Portal. Your itch page is gorgeous!

Thanks for your comment! We hid 8 easter eggs on the main menu that reveal some more lore and leads to a cutscene. Purge all the 1s for a darker story 😉

I left a rating on your game too!

A good game with great potential. If you make an expanded game, I'll be sure to play it!

had a real fun time playing

(from BYTESIZEED GAMES stream) Liked all the different incorporations of what one could be, and enjoyed my time with it

Had a similar idea when brainstorming and let it go because I struggled seeing how to make it fun. This, however, was quite fun! Overall super polished. Managing to fit in multiplayer is also crazy. Good job folks!
