How does the game fit the theme?
The sheep may seem harmless but they are not to be trusted. One of them is a shapeshifting monster and you have to find who it is.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some sound effects, full list in the description

Really good game! and quite simple to understand, tho it sometimes felt a little random on which sheep gets killed, i would run up to the spot and no "sheep" near it maybe i was just slow? other than a great entry!

I like the concept that fits the theme really well, and the fast gameloops is cool, but the game is too much repititive, and a bit hard, I feel like when I won it was just because i shot a random sheep. Still a really good submission with great visuals, keep it up!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!! Yeah, after the jam I'm updating the game for more hints and ways to analyze a run asap. I don't want shooting randomly to be a valid strategy. Games always feel easier when you're the one making them ^^" I hope you still got some enjoyment out of it!

I really like the concept, and it fits the theme well, but I had a tough time playing since I really couldn't understand how it works. I'd have two sheep right next to each other, and one would die so I'd shoot the other, thinking that there's no possible way any other sheep could have killed one from across the pasture, only to be wrong every single time. It made it feel like the sheep were killed at random, or the imposter was random, which was frustrating as a player. Some other cues may have made it a little more forgiving to analyze.

Thanks for the feedback! :) Yeah you're right, there should have been more clues for the player. I was working on a playback feature to see how a run played out but it didn't make it into the game, which would help analyze what happened. I'll update the game post-jam when the rating period ends. We have a little hint that says the monster teleports away to safety after killing, but it's not very noticeable. We should also add that the monster does not kill while it's in the light. I'll update the description with some hints for now.

Thanks for playing, I hope you will get some enjoyment out of it with some updates :D

Nice concept for the theme :D
Was quite tricky to find the actual shape shifting monster and had to try three times.
The sheep are safe again :)

Thanks for playing!! Not bad, I don't blame you for not getting it on the first try, the mechanics are quite obscure on purpose :) I hope you enjoyed!! :D
