I think the game is really cool and the idea behind it was brought to life nicely. Sure, there’s room to expand on it further, but for a jam submission like this where there is a time limit, everything was executed perfectly. Really well done

Nice concept and atmosphere (:

I think some more feedback on whether I was correct or not in my decision would be nice.

The SFX work nicely but I think some background music would help as well, nothing major but maybe some more pronounced ambience. The art style was really cool too

Developer

Thanks for checking out our game! We would also like to add more feedback to the player's choice so the consequences are much clearer. As for background music, we decided to not include some during gameplay to amplify the eerie atmosphere but I could consider adding more textures to the ambience to further establish the horror feel of the game.

The artstyle is very good, however the writing and the font of the dialogues feels a bit off compaed to the rest of the game, still very well made!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We're really proud of the assets of our artist as well so we're glad people love the art style. We plan on working on the dialogue in the future to improve the player experience but nonetheless, we're glad you enjoyed our game!

Sound and visuals were great. I struggled a little with the text content and felt lost with some replies and the buttons. Great job nonetheless!

Thanks for the feedback! We have noticed that the dialogue was a common point of friction among players. We'll keep doing playtests and iterate on the UX to improve the player experience. We're glad you enjoyed our game overall!

This was awesome! I love the artwork and animations. It's all feels very uneasy. It reminds me of Papers, Please but with a detective vibe. I could have used a few instructions at game start but that may just be me. I think you have a good foundation here for a release and I'd love to see where you take it.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Our concept was indeed quite influenced by Papers Please and tried to be unique by taking on a more horror aesthetic. We do plan on making more QoL changes and polish the mechanics more to in the future to improve the experience.

I love the creepiness I got playing from this game. Its mechanics is intuitive and I didn't encounter any bugs playing it; it's consistent. I love also the presentation specially in the visuals and sounds. Nice game!
