How does the game fit the theme?
One person was murdered at this party. To solve it, you'll read everyone's testimony and walk through frozen moments in time to check their stories against what actually happened. Some are lying. Some aren't. You won't know which until you look for yourself — because here, you can't trust anyone.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Models (some of them)

Wow! I love the time rewinding mechanic a lot, super unique take on the murder-mystery style and made me feel like a cool little time detective hahaha. Ended up getting 14/14 after doubting myself and double-checking everything but had a ton of fun doing it. Great job!

I LOVE THIS! The graphic is adjacent to Chilasart games, and the murder-mystery style gameplay is genuinely engaging. I love being able to type in the name it showing up on the person's head. Small thing but feels satisfying. Well done! I got 12/14 for my score.

Developer

12/14 is very cloose what did you miss? Who did you mark as the killer? Thanks for the amazing feedback!

Submitted

I'm not sure what I missed but I marked... The cook as the one who told the truth bc the kitchen was locked. Vlad was definitely on the ladder lol. The guy with the headphones was outside unlike his claim of staying inside.

I marked Andrew (or was it George lol I forgot. The one who screamed and alerted the guy looking at Liam's body) as the killer bc he was the one who was with Liam last. And he's suspiciously missing from the upstairs despite screaming about it

So solid and neatly done especially by a solo dev! I went through the whole game and really engaged with the story and gameplay. Nice visuals and atmosphere, could use better audio design and I wish the game had some sort of v-sync, so many screen tearing but nothing that would hurt the experience.

Developer

Thanks for the amazing feedback! I think V-Sync is enabled in the downloaded version. But i do not really know what it is anyway im just guessing. What was your final score?

Submitted

It syncs the game's FPS with monitor's refresh rate. And I gave it 4 or 5 stars in most categories except for audio (3/5). Would be honored if you also give my game a try!

This is soo peak! I love the visuals!

Developer

thx a lot. what was your final score?

I somehow had some problems with the movement, at least in the WebGL version. Visuals and sounds are really good though, and if the gameplay gets a bit more optimized/fixed I can definitely see myself playing more. Nice atmosphere overall and a really solid base.

Developer

If you move your cursor out that happens yeah. I have no control over it. But I polished up the gameplay a little bit more. Added some more guidance at the start. You can give it another shot!

I think I'm not patient or smart enough for this but it looks pretty and polished to me.

Developer

I updated the game with more guidance. You can give it a replay now!

the text is kinda hard to read and its hard to understand what to do or maybe im just dumb, pretty polished tho

way better than mine and might be good if developed more

Developer

I updated the text and added some more guidance to kick off the player, you can give it another shot

The small changes really improved the enjoyment and understandability even though i still got 3/21 which is 21% but i think thats a skill issue
the only complaint i have is the book moves when you move the mouse in uncomfortable way so maybe change that a bit? might help to add a map so people can know how much area there is
Best game ive played in the jam so far :)
