How does the game fit the theme?
You never know when or where Misir will attack, so don’t trust him and always stay alert to keep the objects on the table.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Nice thinking for the theme. Brought out my traumas with my cat lol. Ellerine saglik.

I only played up to about 800 points, but if you haven't added it, including corn as an item would be a nice touch.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, adding corn would have been a nice touch. Teşekkürler! :D

I love cats and this cute game has a fun, albeit unpredictable loop that makes the game feel less repetitive. I wish you could pet the cat.

Developer

I was actually thinking about that feature, but I kinda forgot about it. Thanks for the feedback!

Simple and sweet, incredibly fun. We all love Misir.

Solid game and very different take on the theme! Can’t wait for future updates on this one!

Developer

Thanks! As for future updates, I don’t know, maybe.

Cute and colourful presentation, that along with the super solid physics system makes the simple and repetitive gameplay really fun for a long time. Love all the homemade sprites and the chosen style. Played for way too long - great game!

Fun fact, you almost named the cat "Misr" which is the egyptian name for Egypt. Very fitting for a cat game :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the kind words and your comment! And yes, you got it! “Mısır” means corn in Turkish, but it also means Egypt, just like “Misr” in Arabic. I actually named the cat after my cat Mısır, who I lost earlier this year. Thanks for playing!

That is so cute! Corn is a funny thing to name a cat after.

'Misser' is also danish slang for a cat. Apparently the perfect cat name. Shout-out to Mısır <3

My game was also inspired by my cat (who is still alive and featured at the end of the game)

Very adorable XD Love the attention to the details and how his eyes always follow your mouse haha
