How does the game fit the theme?
You are locked in an office solving a murder entirely through a telephone, and every person on the other end of the line has a reason to lie to you.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All code, 3D art, portraits and UI were made during the jam.
Sound effects are a mix of free sounds sourced online and recordings I made myself. The in-game documents were provided by EdduDesign (Arquivos Confidenciais). The rug texture is from Sketchup Texture Club. Music is "Night on the Docks" and "Bass Walker" by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com), both copyright free.

Really cool, i love this game's design and it really makes you feel like a detective!
Very well made . I liked the mechanic of spreading the papers looking for clues it worked smooth.
Great execution! Small nitpicks: middle mouse to move board around I'd replace with lmb to drag around. makes it easier one button experience. The environment is pretty dark, would have been fun to have the light more available. Would have killed for a tiny bit of animation on teh curtains like a wind or something of that sorts to build atmosphere further or a siluethe sometimes going behind the door. Not being able to take out materials onto the desk while in the top-down view was annoying. The desk chair being in the way also something I'd try to move away, alas big nitpick since you have the topdown view to simulate that. The ad phonecall for subscription was a good break!
Thank you so much for the in-depth review! I'll note these changes to include in future versions of the game, especially the panning and picking up objects while on top-down view!
This is very well done. The design language is deliberate, the story is thought-through and the use of colors (red for the phone, monochromatic grey for the environment) make the game visually appealing and unique. In addition the light shining onto the desk emphasizing where you’ll be spending your time is good.
The unique art and font used for the documents is also well done and blends together nicely. No-one document reads the same.
The game feels simple in nature, yet deliberate in execution. I am in awe, there’s a lot I can learn from this.
You really nailed the 1920s film Noir visual Style
The visuals, the art style, the audio, the story, are incredddiiible!
There were a lot of content and clues that added depth to the game. The contrast in color between the phone and the room was a smart choice too! Great game!
This was a great game. I watched it a bit at work while it was being streamed and tuned out when i saw the answer was gonna be put in chat. I think i spent a solid hour on this one alone. Combing files. Connecting the dots. I'm so impressed how you were able to tie everything together in such a detailed way.
Like, legit i wanted to go throw on a trench coat and stand outside of a diner around 11PM, smoke a cigarette and monologue about the darkness of the world.
Like, this being 2 people over the course of the week having this much polish is just impeccable.
I don't really have much notes other than i got spam calls a few too many times.
Really really excellent work here!
