I'm really bad at chess lmao it took all my brainpower to get past level 1. This is a great game though! Very well-made and polished

Had a blast! Does being vulnerable to an enemy spy always force them to move away from your king? It seemed like a good way of locking down the enemy king when I played.

The concept is quite simple but engaging; I’ve spent quite a lot of time playing the game, which can be considered a success.

How many levels does this game have?

Developer

According to me infinite but at some point my math would break, and game would eventually be broken after that...

It's incredibly catching you off guard when you think your pieces are loyal and they suddenly betray you.

One of the most complete games i have played till now on the game jam, good job!

Submitted(+1)

I like the idea a lot, but it seemed so random when some one was not loyal. so the strategy just became to retry until they behaved and hope for the best outcome. Nice visuals and audio too!

The idea is good , but the execution can be better, for me was like a mini chess.

Polished, neat and entertaining. Loved this take on chess. However, it got to a point where I repeated the same pattern of moves to pass majority of levels. A great game nonetheless!

Interesting spin on the classic chess formula! Would've been neat to play a game with the entire board using this premise.

I really love any kind of modded chess games since I myself am a big fan of chess. This was a great implementation of the theme with a game everyone knows. Good job!

I like implementation of classic games so you basically know half of the rules before you even started, however this one seems a bit too random at moments, but gotta admit turn skip is fun to play around

I really like this game. It's both simple and replayable.

I really like this twist on chess! The option to scan instead of move adds some depth in the classic chess! A small is perfect for the jam entry. Well made!

Well made 👏 5/5 overall game

Really solid take on the theme and applying it to chess. I like the idea of scanning the pieces to see who is friend or for. Unfortunately I am too stupid at chess and got capped at level 3.

i really enjoyed playing this and gave it a good rating

Pretty interesting take on chess. It  brings its own unique gameplay. However I didn't really understand based on what the pieces decide to sabotage me and when I should do the scans. Also in some situations the bot decides to just give up? (goes right next to my king so i can freely take it). Overall I like the  gameplay is fun, visuals  are good and sounds are well designed. Good job!
