Finally, a weapon in my hands that can actually one-shot enemies! I really liked the game overall, but there were a few things I felt were lacking:

  1. Tone down the cursor assistance/aim assist a bit; it feels a little too heavy, and the direction the character faces is slightly misaligned with where the cursor actually points.
  2. The character movement feels a bit too stiff/clunky.
  3. It lagged pretty heavily for me during the initial load.

Other than that, didn't feel like anything was missing. Great job!

Thanks for giving it a try and giving feedback! I am already working on the game. The laggy startup is fixed on desktop downloadable ports. Unfortunately the web port  hardly can be fixed because it runs on OpenGL. Also fixed the aiming, enemy hitboxes and attack and worked on player movement animations. All gonna be included in first post jam update!

Best of luck! I'd love to play the game again once the jam is over.

Also, about the monster spawns: they seem to just appear out of nowhere right now. It might feel a lot better if they broke in through windows or gaps instead. Like, when I leave a room, they could start banging on the glass, and maybe I could barricade/reinforce the windows before moving on. Just tossing some ideas out there, man!

Thanks! Will surely consider these suggestions. And will definitely give you a heads up when next update drops.
