Interesting idea. I cant tell if this was intended or is a bug with my screen resolution but when I went to play instead of taking up the full screen replacing the upgrade area in just opened as a tiny screen the bottom left. I was able to experiment with the game but a more well explained control scheme would have helped alot. I did enjoy the flashlight effect alot!

How does the game fit the theme?
The player cannot trust whichever object contains ghosts and which ones are normal objects, you have to scan them in time before the ghosts find you
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

I like the font choice for title screen hehe. Admittedly I had trouble understanding what the effects on the objects were? Love the use of lighting and that the gun faces the direction of shooting! Nice effects for the shots and reload! Wish there was a way to dodge the enemy or shield against it. Overall interesting game!
Loved the idea, really cool game hope you go further with it! Originality points are big for this. The gameplay loop is good and it sets a great atmosphere. The roguelike elements feel a bit disjointed but I could see them working with some tuning(maybe adding more enemies as has been said would make them more needed-though that might take away from the atmosphere)- I tried for curiosity sake in a level just waiting for all of them to attack me with no upgrades and it was not a difficult fight. (This to say i liked this a lot and it made me curious). The art was great, loved the style and it fit toghether nicely, liked that there were animations. Loved all the sound effects, they fit as well, and the game defs fit the theme nicely. Also the browser version was buggy as hell but the windows one worked fine so no probs. Thanks for the game I hope I get to play future versions of it.
Liked the game, had a bit of problems figuring out what i had to do. so maybe make a proper tutorial instead of a option button could help. Still amazing job!!
Awesome concept! The pixel art and UI look crisp, and the upgrade system gives it a ton of replay value. The loop can feel a bit slow when searching for ghosts, but overall it's a super fun submission with huge potential!
Fun game...Love the pixel art and the ui, pretty great concept too...
Im gonna download it (played the web version) and explore it more
just one thing I noticed... the game has some stutters when using the ....dash mechanic? as soon as I pressed space bar the game weirded out a bit
but definitely Bonus points for using Godot!!
Pretty cool game! I'm defo gonna come back to this to explore all the upgrades :)
hey! interesting game! i died in the first 20 seconds XD i think i need to explore the map a bit further but it has some potential!
Fun little game here! I really like the visuals. I do agree with Sorong having to scan alot of boxes before finding a ghost. I got one game where it felt like i scanned every box. Also think a little bit more of onboarding would help out. I did not have a clue what to do at first. Fun game, deff has potential!
hey! I really like games like this where you have many upgrade paths :)
Some suggestions for improvement:
I would recommend you to add a webgl export, so that more people try out your game. People are always hesitant to download a build.
I also would recommend you to speed up the gameplay loop. I spend 3 minutes running around scanning boxes and didn't find any encounters. Reduce mission time and increase ghost encounters and the game would feel way more engaging.
nice submission! :)
