Hey Blazer,

I loved the visuals and the short introduction text! The narrative is great, and I felt really immersed in the universe right from the start.

One critique I would make is about the dialogue bubbles: I think we should be able to pause or skip through them at our own pace. Sometimes I鈥檓 tired and my eyes just can鈥檛 keep up lmao 馃槶

The visuals, again, are WOW. I loved the universe and how well you stuck to it throughout the game. Everything felt really coherent and visually consistent. I also really liked the music!

The journal is a great idea. However, I found the amount of text a little overwhelming and not super easy to digest. I think the visuals could have been developed a bit more to make it more fun and engaging to read, maybe with pictures, little illustrations, notes, or other elements that would make it feel more like an actual journal rather than just blocks of text.

I also feel like the dialogues could be reworked to connect more directly with the newspapers and the information we discover in them. At times, some of the conversations felt a little random or disconnected from the investigation. I think it would be much more engaging if the dialogues allowed us to actually investigate what we鈥檝e read, question characters about specific information, notice contradictions, and figure out whether something in the newspapers is true or not. That would make the player feel much more involved in the investigation rather than simply reading information and having separate conversations.

I loved that we could eventually decide to eject someone. It could also be interesting to find out afterwards whether we made the right choice or ended up ejecting the wrong person. I feel like that would make the decision even more meaningful!

Overall, this is a really good game! I鈥檓 definitely going to talk about it and come back to it for sure!!! Do you plan on updating or expanding it in the future? 馃槉

I believe you will like my game. It is about Pastor vs Vampire. And your feedback is important for the game too.

Done!

First of all, the narrative is quite original! It made me think of Michael Scofield lmao. I loved being immersed in the story that way, and it felt different from the other games I played during this jam. Also, good job on the presentation page! I also loved the music. It gave the game a slightly different vibe and made the experience feel more fun than stressful, which I really enjoyed.

The main issue I had was that the dialogues went by way too quickly for me to fully enjoy the game. I could barely read some of them, and I couldn't click on the characters again to reread what they had said. Because of that, I had to restart the game multiple times, which became quite frustrating.

The dialogues themselves could also use a bit more polishing, but I understand that some repetition is necessary since most characters need to give you the same information regardless of which path you take.

I guess I would've also enjoyed having some stealth elements, like needing to hide from or sneak past guards at certain points. I think it could make the escape feel a bit more interactive and add some tension to the gameplay.

Hi, I would really appreciate some deep feedback in our game, as you said, many people only leave small cute lines and what we really need is some tips for improvement :) here is ours: https://gexizt25.itch.io/littlest-suspets

I like giving in-depth reviews when I manage to sit down (ADHD gang?)! I will try my best to free some time tomorrow to play yours! If you would like to give our submission a try and leave a review on our page (so that my fellow teammate could see it too!), that would be awesome as well! We plan to expand it further after the jam, so feedback is much appreciated! :) https://cohzach.itch.io/mental-trap
