I enjoyed the detective experience, I managed to beat it in the second try, though technically I figured out the right murderer on my first attempt. I do see how much effort y'all put into this for a game jam, but I do have some critiques on the execution that I think could be done better.

Having to find all evidence to get the win felt a bit restrictive. Even without finding the laptop or the urgent notice, there was enough info to deduce who the killer was. The laptop also kinda gives away the answer, so it does feel like it takes away from the deduction., since it directly states the motive.

There is definitely a little too much to read and digest, trimming some of the text based evidence, might make it less overwhelming.

Also, the part with the untrustworthy officer didn't really change the deduction process much (eg. whether the golf club has blood or not didn't change my thought process). I think if the officer affected core evidence, and after we expose them, it changes the picture, that might be more interesting.

The music is a little lacking as well, there is not much melody and the loop isn't clean. Honestly, using a creative commons track might be a lot less hassle for you and would improve the experience more.

Overall, the premise and detective work is pretty standout for a game jam project, either way good job on finishing such a complex and detailed game.

Okayy the character designs look cute
Though the clicking to skip dialogue made me accidentally click the characters multiple times
Maybe change it to E key instead
Also the character are hard to track most of the times because there are so many texts all over the place

Anyways I enjoyed the art and story
There are lots of room for improvements but it's not a bad game either
Great job ^ ^

I liked it, a nice little murder mystery game.  The characters are really cute, i like the custom art and dialogue, it's impressive you were able to add voice acting to the phone in time, I would try syncing up the text timing so its the same length as the audio. Overall a great game!

I have to say that I really liked the scale. also the details and the depth of each character was really well made. Unfortunately after 2 tries I couldn't find the culprit :(. Great Job With the game.

A bit rough around the edges, but I see the vision you were going for.

Interesting artstyle and voice over is really good actually the first that i was surprised by because in the jam few people realy did that in there games. also did not expect such complex game by plot and gameplay will be presented in this jam. music was a not that good but other parts were great artstyle really neat

Liked the game and the storyline! I was a bit confused at first because I really thought I had the right person, it turned out I did but there wasn't enough evidence. After figuring out how to get the evidence(which took some time), I liked the twist of the last few days.

I would love tho that you could also look back at the collected evidence in the pinboard.

Yo! That was quite fun, I like the art too, but too much text and my attention span geez is the worst, but really enjoyed it, well done guys.

Really cool little detective whodunnit! I didn't play long enough to solve the case, as there's a lot of text to wade through, but it's all well presented and well written. I did think it had frozen up at one point during the day transitions, it would be good to add the ability to click or press a key to skip those delay screens, or if it's hiding asset loading add a progress bar.
