Cool game and I like your take on the theme! It took a bit for me to figure out what to do at first, so I think slightly more of a tutorial would have been good. But I understand time is limited in a game jam conext. Either way good job its cool!
Yeah, adding an in game tutorial is something I want to add for my post-jam update. Thanks for playing and rating!
I really like the idea, I wish there were more puzzles, but as is it's good for a jam entry!
I like you different take on the theme trying to find no one- which you should trust in this game if I understood right- it's a really unique concept. It's simple and I like it. Maybe The text bubles could've been better. Also, Idk if only I had it but in the level with the poetrics I just couldn't go on whatsoever. Just wanted to inform you about it. Great game
First, thank you for playing and reviewing! For the 4th level you have the wrong character chosen. It's the one that says that says they are from the castle of one of no. Sorry if that level was confusing, I was having fun with Shakespearean language.
I love this take on the theme, very funny, great job!
Fun idea!
Some improvements to consider:
* As the guy who plays years on PC - I have spent a lot of time trying to click E, then F, then all letters before I finally read it is "1". While it is a kind of thematic - it is unintuitive for people used to play on pc with E/F default buttons to interact
* Tutorial would help as well so people see right in the game what they should do. Maybe the first level could be with the text on the screen and arrows showing and saying how to play
But overall that was cute experience!
Thank you for the really good feedback. I didnt even think about making the action button E and I should have done that. Also making some tutorial backdrops is first in my list for my post jam update.
Cute, smart game! Really enjoyed playing and solving these puzzles :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Your profile picture even looks like the blue square :)
So cute! Wished the instructions were in the game itself and not in the description but that's totally fine. Good job!
Yeah for my post-jam update I want to add some intro backdrops for controls and other stuff. Thanks for playing it and I'm glad you liked it!
It is a really cool Idea! Was a bit confused at the beginning, but then it was really fun!
I'm glad you had fun playing it, thanks for the compliments!
didnt think it would be this good at first, but it took a nice turn! i also got stuck at 10, with the two red squares :(
but it was fun to play, i will come back to try again some day lol
Thanks for checking it out! I recently made level 10 easier to understand if you want to give it a second try.
OHHHH now it makes sense lol
last time i accidentally pressed 2 and i saw it did something different but i didnt know why lmaoo
thank you for the update!! <33
I love the idea however the game could use a little more polish/juice. Great job!
Yeah my biggest regret was that I wish I spent just a little more time polishing everything. Thaks for playing and the feedback! What do you think needs to be polished the most?
When selecting the buttons on the bottom right you couldn't un-select them. also if you select all of them you can just cheese the level.
I think the idea has potential, but it would be better with more UI so it's clearer which buttons to press and where the game is heading.
Thanks for the feedback, I plan to do a post-jam update and a clear ui will be something i'll work on. Still thank you for playing!
Fun puzzle game, I got stuck after 10 though ;(
Also I think you can cheese the game by selecting every square, push 1 to the no one square and then going right.
On getting stuck, was it the level with the other red character? Also thanks for mentioning the cheese and thanks for playing!
Yeah, that one. No problem, really enjoyed the concept :D
Sorry for the no sound effects or background music, I ran out of time to implement them :( But that is the first thing I want to add for my post jam update.
