How does the game fit the theme?
THE CASE is a dedective puzzle game where you question the suspects and try to find the killer. Andbody could be lying and anyone could be the killer. So you should TRUST NO ONE

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
i only used two non - copyrighted musics first being Esponage and the second is Heavy Heist. other than that, whole game is made by me

I really liked the art style. I think it conveyed a pixel-art investigator vibe that worked really well.

I believe games like "This Is the Police" will be great study material for you.

Developer

I am happy that you like the art style. Papers, Please was a big inspiration for it. And also thank you for the recommendation. i will definitely check that game out!

Nice game, love the idea, the intro could be sped up a bit as it is quite long, but overall i had fun playing it, good concept !

Developer

Thank you and yes the intro was also annoying me a little bit but people who playtested the game didnt understand what the items was so i had to make an intro around it to kind of tutor the player. I am happy that you had fun!

Gotta admit this game really made me use my mind even though at the end it wasn't so hard to find the criminal. Nice little game. I'd suggest you speed up the intro transition a little. Otherwise everything worked solid in your game.

I am happy that you had fun! I wanted to make a short replayable game but a game where you needed to use your mind. I am proud that it worked!

I think it's a nice short detective game! I have to say the intro cutscene confused me a bit (there was just text in #hashs#), but I got the gameplay down easily. The game is very short though and you saw almost everything after some minutes. Nevertheless a cute little deduction game!

Thank you! Yes even though i tried to make the intro cutscene as simple as possible but i understand that it might have been a little confusing. I am happy that you had fun though
