How does the game fit the theme?
Although there is no person-to-person interaction in this game that was rapidly made in about 5 days, there are definitely certain scenes that will test whether you should trust or not. For instance, in the third room, should you trust the person who wrote the record? Or the person who recorded it into the computer? (If you can even get there, that is...)

P.S. Need a hint? Find a daily one in the dev-log!

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
None! All by myself, an Indie Developer!

How many people worked on the game?

Really enjoyed it. Was genuinely challenging. I did appreciate that you released hints as the week went on, that's an awesome idea.

Lovely stuff. I love cryptics and puzzle hunts, this format was a new spin on that. Really nice. I will definitely come back to this when my 'puzzle game buddy' has time to join in.

Great job.

Good work on this solo submission. It does take me back (an 80's baby here lmao). I initially really loved the sound but by the time I got stuck at door 3, it became too much for me and my brain stopped working! lol it's great for adding tension and unease for sure. In all fairness though even after I turned it down my brain still wasn't doing much for me LOL. Cool puzzles, I think if there were more elements to the game to incentivize winning (story maybe?), the tricky puzzles would have more of an allure to figure out.. The morse code one was pretty cool. Took me a while to figure out a certain letter in room 1 too, but thats cause I'm not quite sure what a *ot room is..
Good work! Caught a great retro vibe and made a whole ass game all by yourself.. fire!

The music sounded a little ominous, but it fits the theme well.

It's always nice to see Pico 8 games. Great puzzles.

Yo, A pico 8-game.). dam, this game is hard, although it has a nice aesthetic.

I really love the retro vibes of the game! The font felt a bit hard to read at first glance, but later it got improved, and  the game felt a bit hard to play, but I really enjoyed it, overall a nice game! And it was really cool you made it solo in just one week! Great job!

Damn… that’s really REALLY RETRO
Everything from scratch!
Mad respect!

This game reminds me of classic nes games i used to play as a kid, although it was hard to know what i was supposed to do, i'm currently sick so that didn't help with brain power either :"v

Fairly difficult though I did get to stage 3 eventually. I like that you made all the art!

Cool looking game! Not gonna lie, I was not able to get past the first door, I thought I had all the letters but i just couldn't move forward. Some letters are also a bit hard to read. Anyway, I did go check out the dev logs, and huge props for also doing that, it does help make the game more complete in my opinion.

Really enjoyed the puzzles and the graphics. Over all, a really fun puzzle game.

The puzzles were actually quite challenging. I liked the 8-bit visuals, I have a soft spot for old school graphics:)

Love the minecraft style dandelion lol, really well made tho keep it up

Great game. Loved the 8-bit style. Interesting gameplay.

Some of the alphabets were a little hard distinguish from each other. like I accidently confused the W with a U in the first puzzle which was partly my fault.

overall a good game. Would recommend to others.

Fun Game! personally I wasnt able to figure out the first puzzle lol. but i see that others have, so that might me a me problem. One thing i did think would help was maybe making the music quieter or making it not so repetitive? but still very fun

Amazing little game. I was able to complete the first 3 puzzles before I got distracted. 8-bit games and puzzle games are actually both not my thing, but despite this game being a combo of both, I actually had a good time and spent far longer than I would have on many other dime-a-dozen puzzle games.

I've never seen Pico-8 used before in a game jam and I was pleasantly surprised!

I could totally see this game being someone's childhood favorite gameboy game.

Love the 8-bit theme. Puzzles are pretty challenging, but I liked it.
