Description
Gabu: I wrote my tracks with a leitmotif in mind: a leitmotif depicting the concept of adventure itself that could also represent the quest for a legendary song the bard is looking for. It starts in "A Song of Adventure" (the first motif in the chorus sentence), is clearly announced at the end of "In Ancient Ruins", and is used in the chorus of "A Legendary Song" as well.
1) A Village Far Away (Gabu)
Written in 7/4. This track is written with folkloric/rustic instruments to depict a village in the far countryside.
2) A song of adventure (Gabu)
Track representing the adventure itself, as well as the legendary song the bard would like to write.
3) A Moment to Gaze the Stars (Shellotz)
A relaxing track depicting a moment of appreciation for the beauty of the small moments in daily life.
4) In Ancient Ruins (Shellotz and Gabu)
A darker track depicting ancient ruins and its dangers.
5) A Legendary Song (Gabu)
Written in 5/4. The climax of the adventure. During a fierce battle, the bard finally found the inspiration for the song that'd make him famous.
6) A Rowdy Evening (Shellotz)
A track of acceptance and contentment as the bard sings his new experiences to his dearests.

Your sounds are so cool; that ancient, medieval vibe is really good.
And oh my god, the flute in "A Song of Adventure" is incredible—so full of life, it sounds real. Definitely my favorite track.
Thank you so much ! Very glad you enjoyed :D
i like your choice in rhythmic variation in the first track. its very polyphonic in a welcoming way that keeps things engaging. my favorite track is "in ancient ruins" though - i like your use of syncopation through the precussion & marimba. gives it a lot more momentum, and is a great track to have in the middle of the OST! great work!
Thank you very much for listening !
Great work! Loved the tin whistle writing and my favorite track was A Song of Adventure. I think the dry mix is a nice choice for the smaller ensembles, but for the larger ensemble pieces, it might make sense to add more of a wash to emphasize the greater presence and create some narrative contrast. But other than that, this was great fun to listen to!
Thank you very much for the feedback ! Indeed, I personally still have a lot of work to do on my mixing overall. I really appreciate you pointing it out, and I'm glad to read you enjoyed it !
A Village Far Away: The rhythm here is addictive, I like how it feels like it's going "back and forth".
A Song of Adventure: The soaring melody really gives an adventure vibe.
A Moment to Gaze: So calm and pretty: The melody is very moving (ik it's not a character theme but it gives me that vibe), amazing work here.
In Ancient Ruins: I also have a darker ancient ruin style track in my entry, yours without a doubt is better though lol. This is my favorite track here! Dark yet emotional melody. Love the unique chord movements later on.
A Legendary Song: Ooh the articulations in the woodwind! So expressive. Nice percussion.
A Rowdy Evening: Love this sweet outro. Hearing some use of minor iv in a major context which always gives me credits themes vibes.
Great work!
Thank you so much for giving our submission a listen !
Hiiii, enjoyable soundtrack! I really am appreciation the different time signatures and how all the tracks set a different mood and vibe and still cohesive at the same time. Just a random observation but it felt like your sound design quality improved each track from 1 - 6. Overall some work I hope you are proud, thanks for creating and sharing. Great listening experience.
That's an interesting observation. I personally made my tracks in that order (1 then 2 then 5), so that might be because I was feeling more comfortable with the theme as our soundtrack progressed.
Either way, I'm very glad to read you've enjoyed our soundtrack. Thank you for listening !
