How have you integrated the theme "Freedom but at what cost" in your game?
The player must gain their freedom by escaping the prison known as Tartarus. To do so, they may have to sacrifice hp, money, and even NPCs.

Where and which 3 colors have you used?
The game used three colors exactly for a monotone style: #141013 as the darkest color, #825056 as the midtone, and #e7c8df as the highlight

Fun game! I wish the art was a little bit more clear cause its a but hard to read what is in the picture but other than that i had fun

Great art and atmosphere, i agree with one of the user saying that it's giving out vibes similar to I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream. Well done!

I really like the art and the part with the dice and characteristics, like in D&D. Was it planned that I would be able to draw on the text block?

Haha, a happy accident as part of the way the engine works!

Using assets from the Met is genius!

I did hit left/right to break the game a bit, but on replay I just avoided that.

I think the moral cost of using homunculus is a cool way of integrating “at what cost?”. but I didn’t realize what it did before using it. I also think the stat system with random rolls is a little tricky here because there isn’t really an alternative approach so it’s less risk/reward and more just random.

Still, quite cool and great vibe.

Ah! Thanks for catching that! I forgot to disable that when I uploaded the final build haha

I really love how you've taken found footage and made a wild game out of this. I wish I understood the story better, but sometimes an abstract adventure is just what you need; feels very in the vibe if "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream". Great work!

Best part: creepy eyes that follow you around.

The aesthetic is super cool!

I haven't played a point-and-click style game in a while. I loved the interactions and choose-your-own adventure style experience.

I didn't realize how to spend coins until I beat  the game, so I goofed up there haha. Aside from that, awesome work!

Amazing job, the artwark is so pleasing to look at, and I love the gameplay. Very well done!

The art is super great.
I love how eyes follow the mouse pointer. It is such a nice detail.
Sadly it is way too short for the stats to be relevant.

This is such an amazing game! Great job, its super cool! My only probelm is that, at some point, the game starts to kinda fall apart, for example, some rooms stopped working or some things turned invisible.

Developer

Uh oh! Did you happen to press the left/right arrow keys? I realized I forgot to remove that debugging feature when I uploaded originally. Hopefully it's fixed in this patch!

yeah i pressed left/right i didnt know how to turn around to go back
