The Biggest Challenge
The biggest challenge was balancing all the game systems while keeping the controls simple. I used AI to test different play styles, adjust the curry delivery and makanai result rules, and find bugs before release.
AI Tools Used
ChatGPT, Suno
Areas Where AI Was Used
Game code, debugging, balancing, pixel art, UI, music, and English translation.

Dashing full speed ahead with Masala Rush! It was an amazing, high-energy thrill ride!
Thanks! I’m really happy Masala Rush landed — I wanted that part to feel like a sudden burst of energy.
This is super fun! Oh wait, so the game actually ends after a set amount of time? It just wrapped up. That was great! The cats dancing together during Masala Rush gives it a really good rhythm and tempo!
Thanks for playing! I’m really happy you enjoyed Masala Rush and the dancing cats. By the way, the night ends when the curry cools down completely three times, so it’s not strictly time-based.
My favorite saag curry was served as a staff meal!
Amidst so many intense, high-stimulation games, it was really relaxing to make deliveries at my own pace at night.
The simple controls make it easy to keep playing for a long time.
The handling feels just right—sometimes you make that turn exactly where you wanted, and sometimes you don't—which makes it addictive.
My personal style is to make quick deliveries, wait leisurely at the door, and then head back via the shortest route.
Thank you so much! I’m really happy the relaxed night deliveries and the little bit of unpredictability in the handling came through. I wanted it to feel calm, but still a little addictive.
It was really easy to get the hang of the controls, and even though it's a simple game about delivering curry, it's super fun and totally addictive!
Thanks for playing! I wanted to keep the rules simple but make the delivery loop something you’d want to keep doing, so I’m really happy to hear that!
Really nice take on CURRY — the "keep it hot" pressure is smart, and the three plates cooling green→yellow→red is a super readable timer. Loved the night-alley pixel art, the boss intro, and that you shipped full JP/EN localization + music in 72h. My one bit of newcomer friction: it took me a moment to tell which doors were active orders while riding around, so a tiny bit more highlight/arrow on live targets would make the first minute click faster. Great, complete entry — rated it happily.
Thanks for the detailed feedback! You actually caught something I was a little worried about — at the beginning, any delivery door works, so I may need to make that clearer without adding too much UI. Really appreciate you pointing it out!
I dig it. It's like an old GameBoy thing. The music was soothing. That was AI?
Thanks! I grew up with games from that era, so that nostalgic feel definitely influenced this one. I used Suno for the music and chose the track that fit the world best.
Suno is a paid AI tool, right? Sounds like it works well for the music. I may have to just bite the bullet and do it. Claude procedural is... well... it tries it's very best, doesn't it?
It's so much fun♪ Before I knew it, I was completely absorbed in the game‼
"MASALA RUSH" feels great when you hit the jackpot. The colorful, fun delivery sequences where a huge number of orders come out all at once are a blast.
The screen on my computer is a bit small, so I'd love to have a full-screen mode. I want to play games like this in full-screen mode to really immerse myself.
I had a really passionate time playing✨ 😆
Thanks for getting so into it! I’m really happy you enjoyed the parts I tweaked to make the game more fun.
You were right about fullscreen too — it really suits this game, so I’ve enabled it now. Thanks for the feedback!
Very cute idea. Would love to see a larger version, perhaps on an arcade cabinet in the future?
Thank you! I was definitely inspired by older arcade games when making this, especially the idea of a simple game you can pick up and play right away. So hearing you imagine it on an arcade cabinet makes me really happy!
Beautiful game, great concept, REALLY impressively made with ai. Inspiring, clean, simple and fun. My only negative comment would be the movement is janky in some areas, it was like the sprite either wasn't responding to me or was moving in a weird way. But otherwise great.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! The movement has a little momentum by design, but I may need to adjust it so it feels smoother and more natural to control.
I really appreciate you pointing it out!
