I had fun with this even though it's not typically my thing.  Really liked the art style and polish

Hell yeah man! Great stuff, love the the artwork!

Great entry! Love the art and audio, gave me Hidden Folks vibes. I think I personally didn't love the scroll menu as it felt like the actions you needed to take were linear anyway. Overall great job!

I really loved this game, at first I was worried it would be too easy since the booples all cost the same amount of rubble but I was being naive lol. Loved the presentation, esp the scroll wheel mechanic for the menu it felt beautiful. Very polished and solid entry! Great job!

Also love the Tung Tung Tung Sahur reference lmao

Developer(+1)

Lol yeah surprisingly no one else has mentioned him

Really polished presentation overall. The art is super cohesive, the audio is great, and I especially loved the itch page; The shadows, image treatment, and 2D/3D mix make the whole project feel really distinct.

The main thing I struggled with was readability. Using the scroll wheel to move between the different screens wasn’t immediately obvious to me, and I’m not sure I ever fully understood the core loop.

The game itself didn’t totally click for me, but there’s clearly a lot of polish here. I think a little more onboarding and clearer navigation would go a long way, because the visual and audio presentation is already really strong.

Very cute and silly little game, love the artstyle
Reminded me a lot of the How Many Dudes?

Developer(+1)

Thank you! You’re spot on too, how many dudes was part of our inspiration :)

Silly cute game

Super polished, including the sfx. Well done!

Submitted(+2)

you guys polished this game really well!

Submitted(+1)

Very very stylish. loved seeing all the new little guys

Submitted(+2)

Cute little concept!

Really fun game as it is, and it has a lot of good potential for future updates. It would be cool to see other Boople types within the existing groups, like a damage buffing one, and maybe some kind of functionality for the element system? Overall really fun, silly and satisfying. Keep up the good work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! We were actually planning for each Boople to have a unique ability but that miight have been an over scope lol. We also were planning for the support class to, not just heal, but some could like you said dmg buff, speed buff etc.

Submitted(+1)

It was really cute and fun, could have done with a little more balance

Submitted(+1)

Ok good job, you got me with these gatcha. Thze art is very cool and love this little strategic gameply. Great Job 👍

Submitted(+2)

Really like how the collectable items are the same items you use for the gameplay loop. Super cute.

I love the visuals and general vibe of the game, especially the machines you get new Booples from, that was very satisfying. Really fun and relaxing to play, I lost track of time a bit when playing it.

Developer

Thank you, I spent too much time just opening the capsules “testing it” since they were so satisfying lol

Submitted(+2)

Really fun game, very polished, yet another game I spent far too long playing

Developer

Haha, great to hear its that fun!

Submitted(+2)

I am humbled and inspired by the level of polish achieved here. It stays too cozy/cute during the attack phase–I think a mood shift at that point is all that’s needed to better fit the theme.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the kind words! And yeah, I think some different music of sorts and maybe some alerts for the city as the booples approach could have sold the imminent doom more. Although I am happy with the cozy style, even if it doesn’t fit as well

I love the game design, reminds me of some flash games from 2010's, very simple to pick up and it's overall a cute entry

loved the art

Developer(+2)

Thanks glad you enjoyed it!

I love my booples! Found one issue, where if a healer was your last troop and standing outside of the range of towers you can't continue.

Developer(+1)

Ohh, thanks for letting me know. The healers were added in the last day so not as much time to make sure everything worked. Will def fix next!
