It got me going for a highscore. It really gets addicting.
It reminded me of a cancelled game, Keyboard Sports. It had a bunch of minigames based on using all the keys on your keyboard.

I managed to get a score of 380, before I got cramps lmao. Very nice game all in all. I appreciate the time you spend in making everything responsive, like just for hitting a Zeus, the score flickers, and the Zeus flashes and pops. Likewise for when you hit an empty podium. The control is very unique for me, and oddly diegetic, in the sense that I was actually hitting the Zeus IRL. Overall, apart from a lack of goal (other than beat the hell out of the seven Zeus's) I have no qualms with the game. Well done :)
I found it quite difficult at the beggining, but I had fun with it! It is addictive. I don't like Zeus anymore. Nice work!
Very fun and simple game! Its just a simple whack a mole game but its actually pretty engaging! The artstyle is very polished as well! This game is giving the vibe of the typa game that would be put in the arcade actually. Audio was pretty simple but very effective. I wish there were some sort of leaderboard or something just so I could see how good I am compared to other people but that might be asking a bit too much for a 2 day game jam xD. Overall, short, sweet, and fun game! Great work!
Fun game! Audio is fun and I like the art style and the whack-a-mole is addictive! I enjoyed playing (reached above 80):)
I really liked the art style, and I thought the game had a funny and creative way of incorporating both the theme and special object. The idea of an immortal god trying to steal a tomato is very amusing. I also enjoyed the whack-a-mole-style mechanic, it felt fitting for the game and was well implemented.
The main thing for me is that the game feels somewhat unbalanced, and I wasn't really sure what my main objective was. Since missing or making a mistake seems to result in losing all your points, it can become quite frustrating. I also wasn't sure if reaching a certain score would trigger something. Does the game have an ending?
Thank you for the feedback!
There is no ending in the game. What kind of objective would you have liked to have in the game?
Making a mistake does remove points. It was an easy way to punish just randomly hitting keys, but I see your point that it becomes frustrating. Especially when there is no clear goal in the game. Well pointed out.
i liked it, but i does it have an ending or it is forever?
i think the best one is the visuals in this game;
it was too hard for me to play alone, so i got my girlfriend to play with me. I had the top row and she had the bottom row. We got to about 170 score. Is there supposed to be an ending at some point or is it infinitive?
This game is very funny to play! Keys are selected perfectly and they are comfortable to use. Easy to understand, easy to master!
The game stands out from the others, and I can see how you chose Zeus and protecting the tomato. Would be fun if you also threw tomatoes at Zeus so it's a more interactive item. As it is, you could really replace the tomato with anything.
Well, the game looks good, but the controls are strange and I'm not used to them.
I thought the idea was interesting, but I found it complicated for the bottom row to start at "A"; perhaps it would be better to start at "S," or have the bottom row use the other side of the keyboard.
Thank you for the feedback!
Do you mean that you would have preferred WERSDFG rather than WERASDF?
Using two hands would actually make sense as the game is now. I thought about having zeus catch fire, then you’d have to select a fire extinguisher and use that before whacking him. Then I would have one hand for the whacking and one hand to select the different tools.
