This game is adorable.
This was impressive! Gameplay was smooth and felt good to move, not being able to go straight backwards makes sense but took a second to adjust to! Graphics were amazing, and soundtrack was bumping! This would fit right at home on a Gameboy cartridge too! Really great work!
I thoroughly enjoyed this game! I liked how everything moved together. Shooting and dodging felt like I was playing chess.
I really enjoy the flavor text and overall game play! It is really smooth and enjoyable. Now to my favorite part, the pixel art is outstanding. I was blown away with the level of detail and animation. It is truly impressive and amazing work!
Thanks for the comment, 16pixels sometimes feels so small to properly convey ideas, so happy it worked anyway
This is an amazing entry. I remember seeing your ship sprites initially and thinking “i want to play that” and i’m glad I did. Soundtrack was lovely and bouncy and the whole gameplay and audio presentation reminded of crypt of the necrodancer. Having everything move as you move gave the shooting and navigation a lovely thoughtful puzzle to it. Stunning game.
Thanks for playing ! Glad you saw the crypt of necrodancer link, first thing I did when I had the idea was actually firing up the switch and replaying a bit of Cadence of Hyrule
This is unreasonably polished. I like the "cannonplay" in this. Great job!
Thanks for playing !
Amazing entry! Can't believe how polished it was. The art, gameplay, and music were all so great and unique, I don't know how you thought to have a waving checker pattern indicate the water but that was perfect. Couple things could be improved: as someone else pointed out, there were some areas without collision and the outline on the text was missing some pixels. Other than that, this felt really complete for a game jam game that was made in a week, so huge props to you!
Yeah, so stupid about this collision, hidden by the cliffs, lesson learnt !
About the checker pattern, if I can give some insight. Playing at first I felt lost without any sign, I didn't have the animates waves either, so it became tough to understand. I tried with a grid at first, but it was ugly, too busy on screen. Checkerboard then felt like a much cleaner way of translating the grid to the player
Thanks for constructive comment !
Really liked the grid-based sailing. Turning the ship and lining up cannon shots made the movement feel like its own little puzzle.
The clouds dispersing as you explore was such a nice touch too, and the art, music, and VFX give the whole thing a lot of atmosphere.
Short and sweet, but really memorable. Would definitely play more of this.
I'm currently trying to make a larger version, but on other tech. 1% of it happening, but maaaaybe
I loved the gameplay! A lot of interesting ideas just from a ship on a grid. The clouds dispersing was such a fun detail. Great game here!
Thanks for playing !
Stunning graphics! Music's so good I moved with the beat
Ahah when I started the track I did the same and ended up working on it for an hour when I was supposed to do something else, so glad you had the same feeling
Really fun! I found the movement and shooting mechanics quite different :> nice job!!
Thanks for playing !
I really loved the atmosphere. I genuinely felt like I was using a Log Pose just like they do in One Piece. The crystal mechanic is incredible, especially considering how little time you had to make it, and it also feels really fresh. Amazing job!
Thanks for playing !
Fantastic little game! I found all the treasures and made the sea a better place. A turn-based sailing game is great. I just wish there was more content. Really nice world design with lots to explore, and all looking good!
Thanks for playing, I must admit I was going to at least bring one more treasure but I had to stop working on the game, and was a bit exhausted. Maybe one day I'll do an expanded version who knows
This is fantastic! I love the writing, the cannonball system is really fun and you even had a great theme drop B^) I think this will be a fav of mine to come back to :D
Didn't even know the key of that random track I did, thanks for the tip :D
Your art is reallyyyyy awesome (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧
The game is simple and fun, great job!
Thanks a lot for playing !
Cool game! But cloud tiles are a bit broken sometimes, and i found place without collisions, dont think it`s should be there.

P.S.
That little island with no collision definitely makes the game a lot easier :''3 But I don't think that was intended.
Wow well great job finding that out, didn't check enough, that fully went under my radar ! That definitely wasn't intended. Thanks for reporting, that's one more point to triple check for next jam. Thanks for playing !
I like so many things about this game: art style is amazing; VFX is so smooth; gameplay and movement are so creative and interesting; music is super cool; difficulty and level design are so on point and well balanced, exploration is really enjoyable, everything. This game has it all, well done!
Thanks a lot for the kind words, glad you enjoyed it !
Amazing animations! It really feels alive, the fog, the pulse. Also the gameplay is very simple and intuitive yet it feels fresh and novel. Predictible ending yet visually very satsfying.
Yeah I wished I had more time for the story beats and went to the easy one, still very glad you enjoyed the game, thanks for playing !
Such a cool game! I love the grid movement and puzzle styled exploration. Just wish there was more!
I'm thinking of turning it into a bigger game, but I reckon we have 2% chances it fully happen :D Thanks for playing !
This is really cool! It looks great and it plays great, I really enjoyed the grid movement and cannon mechanic. Awesome job!
Thanks a lot for playing !
