Fun and quick game with some interesting ideas. I didn't really like the darkness mechanic, but that might just be me. I feel like if my character is glowing, the light shouldn't be directional, or at least, the light should be a little more forgiving. I'd try bumping up the player's acceleration and invulnerability frames a little, too. It took me 3 tries to beat the game and each time I lost was due to a combination of not having vision, having poor movement because of that, and then taking multiple hits from the same enemy. With a bit more work, this could be pretty good!

The choice of colors are pretty nice here, and the soundtracks are really great as well. The gameplay, while I do find it cool, I kinda find it a bit tricky? But then again it is challenging so I understand that.

Not much of a feedback but during my playthrough for some odd reason (with the many amount of times I died in game) the game kinda bugged with infinite lives (like I can't die.) So I thought I'll point that out here.

Pretty cool and unique game!!

Absolute banger of a game! Gameplay was grand, only issue for me was that the sound was a bit harsh for headphones.

As said the gameplay didn't quite clicked with me. Took me a bit to actually understand what was going on at first, I almost felt I was playing a top down game.
Cool execution and ambiance nonetheless, nice music too

Very polished game, not sure if it was my cup of tea for gameplay though ^^"
I found it quite hard to navigate the dark but the quirkiness of it was cool.
I wished that there was some sort of progression system, a checkpoint that
would allow you to skip some of the levels already played.
I did manage to beat a couple and I wanted to keep playing but not from the
start again.

Anyway, great job :D

Pretty fun game, kinda neat lore! Feels pretty gameboy-y.

Had to finish it even though it took me some tries to get through all the levels.

Fun playthrough and good concept!

I could totally see this on a gameboy!! And I really loved the intro scene, it felt very reminiscent of the corpse bride and beetlejuice! I think with more time, you could make the art lean into that vibe and really stand out from other games. I think the gameplay was intresting in idea, there is real potential here BUT there needs more polishing done on it to make it fun and snappy feeling. Congrats on a great entry, and I hope you continue working on this project in the future!
