This is my favorite game of the jam so far! I loved the strange lore along with the dark look. I wish there were a few more puzzles, but there's only so much you can do in the time frame. I'm certain you could do more with the mechanics you got if you wanted to. The SFX are on point, you really nailed that engine sound without departing too much from noises the GB could make. Absolutely great submission!

Incredible game, not a single thing to give criticism on. The art and music are obviously great, but I really appreciated a lot of the smaller details, like the items sliding when you drop them, the environmental details you can find off of the main path, the falling snow and still background, and the snow trail left behind the player. The gameplay is satisfying enough that the simplicity isn't really apparent. You also showed off a lot of mechanics already, so if you wanted to make a longer game, I'm sure you could. And the story was touching; you managed to say a lot with just a few words and some environmental details. I'm hoping you win this whole thing!

Man, what a cool game :(

The pixel art and music/sfx are really well made. The game's lore is sooo interesting.

A banger of a game for the people who likes those lore-focused type of games.

Really enjoyed this one. Congrats!!!

The game had an idea in mind and executed an atmosphere perfectly for it. While I’m not the fan of big downtime between things happening, I do realize I’m not hte only player here.

The game’s visual representation is spotless, amazing work with it!

SFX and MX were great, I do feel that the music was way too loud though.

Overall alovely entry with a lovely vibe and atmosphere! Well done!

Graphics are so amazing, they look professional! Atmosphere and controls felt good.

However I did get softlocked when lining up the 4 beams to get across; I managed to get one of the beams jammed at a weird angle that I couldn't move it anymore. Up to that point everything else was awesome and I wish I could've seen more.

By far the best game I've played so far in this jam, hope this places well! Nice work

That was amazing. The atmosphere, the music,  the pixel art,  the gameplay mechanics, it feels like a complete experience, keep up the good work!

I loved everything, good design, good artist and the gameplay was easy and well made. The atmosphere is perfect, you really feel alone. Maybe this could be my favorite project of the entire jam

I love this!

Its lonely atmosphere was captivating and the story itself moved me a little. The game looks and feels accurate to a game boy game and the art direction is amazing (little details like the robot making snow tracks are cute too).
To top it all off, though, this game has some really cleverly designed and thought-provoking puzzles, which can be solved through the use of your arm outside of carrying the crate. I also love how it's easy to understand puzzle hints and game rules through experimentation and visual cues without being completely handholding.

Aside from a couple of grammar errors, this short story may be one of my favourites to come from this jam so far.

If you like, you can try out my forgetful goldfish game.

Thanks for feedback! Yea, my english grammar is not well... But lets agree that was intended and robot is not very clever :'''3 I`ll try your game for sure!!

I love this game—it's my favorite so far!
I absolutely loved its art style and atmosphere.
It reminds me of “Girls Last Tour.”

Great job! <3

Developer(+1)

I really liked your game too! Yeah, I absolutely adore "Girls Last Tour" it's my favorite manga, and it was a huge inspiration for me. Btw, it took me a whole four days just to come up with this idea :''3 The initial concept was a "space resource-gathering shoot-em-up" but after three hours, I realized that developing it properly would take about a month... So i spent four days coming up with this idea :''''3

I don't even know what to say. May be my favorite entry so far. First, the gameplay is so smooth, so so smooth. The level design is gradual and intuitive and the right size for a jam. AND my favorite thing, I love the story and the setting!!! Wonderful entry! I'd buy this as a full game!

Developer

Thanks for feedback! To be honest, I hadn't even thought about turning this into a full-fledged game, but the more feedback I see, the more I want to give it a try :"3

I loved it beginning to end! I might have teared up a little, we love the lil robot ;(

Soundtrack amazing, movement and mechanics of picking up and moving around boxes and beams was very well made. I loved the little tutorial hints written in the snow AND the tracks of old robots guiding you to the beams!

I'd say the only thing wrong with the game is that it is not longer hahaha. That and I thought the box at the beginning was the tutorial box and did not pick it up immediately. Maybe if it was in a different color or if you added smthg visual that indicated its importance directly onto it. Anyway, great game!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, a friend actually suggested the idea for the box right after I submitted the game. I'll need to add an arrow pointing to it in case the player wanders too far away... And thanks for the kind words!

This is so peak i wanna cry. I like the design of the little robot, and the arm thingy. I love the attention to detail with the snow traces.  "is that what they call fireworks" hits somewhat like a brick. Great job!

Thanks for feedback! I`m glad you like it :3

Wow incredible storytelling, also really nice level design with the puzzles and amazing art!  Amazing story game!

Edit: I forgot to say how cool the mechanic of choosing a palette at the start is!

Developer

Thanks for feedback! I really wanted to add palette choosing to this game))) I'm glad you liked it!

very cute and kinda sad! Aside from leaving box behind for a while and having to backtrack i really enjoyed this!

Developer

Thanks for feedback! I added a hint about this issue to the game description. I wanted to implement some kind of trigger for this if the player goes too far, but I didn't think it would be so critical((
