Iβd say this game features one of the most complex systems I've ever built, which demanded far more time than I anticipated. I also faced some health issues, making my time even scarcer, so unfortunately I wasn't able to complete the game. However, it was a valuable experience, and I learned a great deal during these development days.

WOAH, A SUPERNATURAL MYSTERY ON A TRAIN WITH NO SAFE WAY HOME?! πππ
I really like the premise of No Final Destination! A routine train journey turning into a nightmare, with the engineer missing and strange deaths happening among the passengers, is a fantastic setup for a mystery. The pixel art gives it a distinct atmosphere, and the conversations make me curious about the characters, their secrets, and what is actually happening on that train. It feels like there's a much bigger story waiting to unfold! π©Έπ
It's a shame the full experience couldn't come together for the jam, but building such a complex system in around 50 hours is an ambitious challenge. Showing character names during dialogue would also make it easier to follow who's speaking and get more invested in the mystery. I'd genuinely love to see how the story develops if you decide to continue working on it!
THE JOURNEY MAY BE INCOMPLETE, BUT THE POTENTIAL IS DEFINITELY THERE! πβ¨ I hope you're doing better after the health challenges, and you should be proud of what you've learned and built during the jam. Wishing you all the best, EmperorZoldyck! ππ
Despite being unfinished, this was still a good story with interesting characters and an intriguing mystery, as I would expect from you. I would very much enjoy seeing the full version if you decide to finish it, (though I have enough of my own complicated, unfinished jam submissions to know that doesn't always happen). My one suggestion is to show the characters' names when they speak, since I had a hard time keeping track of who was was who. Also, add a thumbnail and description to the game page - this is a worthy game <3
Glad you were able to participate this jam :)
I love the visuals and the conversations.
The artwork is solid. And so far, I like the concept.
The conversations between the characters are always interesting and intriguing. I want to know more about these characters and this train (which is massive).
Keep crafting it. There are some really solid foundations to expand on here!
Nice artwork ! You see the potential that you wanted to make. Its a shame that you could not finish
Nice work nontheless!
Interesting game! The visuals are stylish, though the dialogue felt a little drawn out to me.
i like the art styles/visual, but the game still doesnt have a lot of interactions/ goals. it is unfortunate that the game is not finished
I understand what you tried but it can be a bit boring that quantity of dialogue. Its a shame it isn't finished
