let's go lobaster ddr !

This was great fun, love the art style, it felt very abstract indeed. The overall quality was lovely, from the curtain at the start onwards, clearly a lot of time has been spent polishing this one. Would love to see this one developed more with more wacky puzzles to solve and developing out the characters. Great fun.

Think this must get the award for the most unique game in the jam. I really love how you took a piece of artwork and made it interactive. The animations fit perfectly with the image and the sound effects really complement the experience. I don't think I have ever played anything like this before and I thank you for that so surely must be in contention for the innovation award. Excellent, firmly in my faves list.

Fun idea! Unfortunately the game kept freezing causing me to restart.

Interesting concept, the animations made with the artwork were really nicely done and the almost ASMR style lobster facts were on point. I got hit with the freeze bug a few times but after some experimentation I managed to get to rhythm and complete it.

I could not get past the key. The game would become unresponsive.I am on Mac and tried Safari, Chrome, and Vivaldi browsers and they all had the same issue. What I got through was interesting. Very cool art style and overall mood for the game.

I finished it (had to reload once), was a fun little experience. I enjoyed clicking around before the reload, and had almost solved it the first time so I got through fast the second time. I can see this being very difficult at the same time, if I hadn't thought to click... where the important things are.

Anyway, wasn't expecting a rhythm thing after, hah! Got through it on my first try (is there a loss condition? not sure, I did make some mistakes but mostly did okay).

Nice work on the project!

The art is onpoint but where are the lobstar facts :O?

The art is nice, so is the animation. The lobster facts are great. I have read a few comments, but I wasn't really able to progress. Maybe if you continue to develop it you could add some clues after some miss clicks? I enjoyed the vibe!

For me game froze always in few clicks and I wasn't able to progress in game :( But game idea looks nice, and very nice art and sounds.

Great Job! Loved the Artwork and sound. The idea of the game is great, i wasnt able to progress very far (I kept on running into the known but and freezing), but i will have to try progressing further later!

Ahh, fun fun. I think more than a few people will not think there's an actual game to play here because it's very hidden...  but I *do* agree that's part of the allure. Because that lobster _is_ alluring.  Lovely work. Very..  homely I wanna say? I'm not sure.. gives me vibes of being in another time. I like this a lot. Nicely done.

I absolutely adore the art in this game and found myself strangely intrigued with the dialogue. Very unique and interesting game.

Thank you! Uncle Dean made this in college and I’ve been fascinated by it for decades, really fun trying to bring it to life. The music and dialogue were also inspired by several bottles of wine.

this may start a marital rift but which voice did you find the most intriguing?

I liked them all but the woman who gives the Lobster facts I found most intriguing. The tone of her voice paired with the art style gave me heavy surrealism vibes which I love

Howly heck! I may have been confused at the start but once I got to teh start, I was flabergasted by the amazing voice! The art’s story is cool. Very nice to see hwo a relavtive’s old art has been transformed into a cool game for others to enjoy! I kinda want more of these painting transformed into a game kind of things!!! The rhythm game was a bit too easy but I was all in for the vibes!

Edit: I also played it like 3 times just for fun!

Hah, thanks! We made the rhythm game's windows really wide to hopefully avoid the need to break the flow for calibration. Glad you enjoyed the vibes!

*so* glad you posted this.. I was so confused and thought "is this all there is?" - then I read your comment and thought "I need to try again - I've obviously missed something".

This interactive art was interesting. Was not much to do but I have never seen something like this in a Jam b4. looks and sounds good, sadly not much of a game and did not feel it had any goal.

Arbitrary clue for you.. since it's deliberately obscure and I think it's worth you having a go properly:  hand > foot > key > fingernails > glasses... then lobster a few times.. it's worth it :D
