This game is adorable and chill - and the moth facts are wonderful to read as you play!  Well thought out, all the info I need is on the screen and easy to interpret. Thank you so much for making this cozy game!

What a nice relaxing well done game. The lighting was very nicely done. game controls are smooth and easy to pick up. Production levels are very good as well, all feel solid and smooth. Graphics look lovely as well. Died a fair few times without much warning but I guess that's what its all about. Very nicely done all round. Fun game.

Such a chilled and relaxing game and I actually found it to be really well balanced too, great job. Really beautiful graphics too

What a beautiful game, I love the art style. The parallaxing (did I make up a word)  was a really nice touch. I think I will be coming back to play this one again. Those bats come out of nowhere! It would be cool if the bats swooped down, but certainly not knocking or deducting any points for that. I'm still not sure how the stamina works, I'm not sure if there was a lag on it going down or building up, but again the game is beautiful. Really well done.

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the kind words! I will work on a post-jam update to fix bugs and add improvements. I can add the bat swoop to the list!

Great looking, almost serene game, I wasn't intially sure what would damage me so just avoided pretty much everything except the biolume and hung around mostly in the middle. I got most of the way to the end then double tagged by some leaves and a bat lol.

Developer

Thank you for your kind words! I can imagine it now...the colony right around the corner, the river fades out...PUFF of leaves blocking the way. You slowly guide yourself to thread them. THEN BAM A BAT RIGHT THROUGH THE OPENING! I love that you said "almost serene" because I was afraid that without the speed increase, the bats, the leaves, and the water being added, the game was boooorrring. Thanks for playing :)

Astonishingly well made game like the art. Finished it on last life. First live I lost cause a glow orb was spawning in the water and I didn’t realize that kills me. Also didn’t understand that we have lives. Temptic told me xD. Also the stamina consumption is a bit strange and unintutive.

Developer

Yeah a little heart for the lives woulda made more sense :) and it's 10 stam to boost, 1/frame when flying upward. I didn't spend any time tuning the stamina. It wasn't draining properly if you press up and then a direction, and the recovery is 5 every 2 seconds. It was a mess! Thanks for playing kani!!

Beautiful looking game! I appreciated the 2D lighting as well. Not my type of game honestly but I enjoyed playing it, sadly I never made it to the end, I kept dying after halfway XD

Cool and calming little game. It did take me a while to get good enough into the game but once I did, It was enjoyabe!

Submitted(+1)

stamina doesn't reset between runs, biolume spawns at random sometimes behind your position, hitting the floor sometimes sticks you to the floor and you get eaten by floorbat. nice graphic though!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the note on the stamina - tested the game too much with unlimited stamina, haha! The fireflies, that have light, sometimes die and drop their Biolume :(

I really like the calming part of game. Even when my moth died several times I was not annoyed and gladly kept trying till I finished the game. Art is done well too. This game I could play more then once - that's good sign. Well made small game!

Developer(+1)

It's good to hear the reset wasn't terrible. I wanted to do checkpoints, but felt like the game was already pretty short. Thank you for playing!

Really enjoyed the game. It STRESSED me out when I died, but I made it all the way through. Really enjoyed it and the art!

Developer

I considered checkpoints, but where's the fun in that! The bats are so stressful for me; I had them spawning much more frequent and I was like there's NO way haha. Thanks for playing!

A fun flappy clone and Im all for it. Very peaceful and stressfree gaming. Everything worked well! and the lighting from the orbs even behind giving lights and shadow was very enjoyable.

Developer(+1)

I struggled with finding out how to make a cozy flappy bird! Thanks for playing and for the kind words!

this game is pretty cool :)

They sometimes get a bad rap, but moths are just butterflies of the night.

Developer(+1)

I had a hard time finding the differences when I researched moths. They are so much more beautiful than I remember! I always see the tan moths who enjoy eating my hoodies. Thanks rtn!

Great job TheAverageGoob, MusicWord, and Shorts_by_PazuzuStudi. I hope this gets good ratings! Lovely art and music, also loved the lighting effects.

I would rate it if I was participating in the jam.

Thanks, BitMage! The other people in the credits are just song credits for royalty-free music. I made the game solo :)

Oh, now I feel silly. I wasn’t sure so I added them lol. Well, great job doing all of this solo!
