The Midnight Trooper is a short kinetic novel based on Washington Irving’s gothic tale, “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.”

Love the gothic setting, that is my happy place. The late Victorian era just seems perfect for horror, mystery, and romance too.

Nice drawing ! Is it hand drawn ?

yup, except the background, im not good in that

Backgrounds are so hard...

I don't know what kind of game this is but the menu seems too complex and really hard for the player to comprehend. I suggest that you should find a way to simplify these kinds of menus so the player can understand them more clearly and not make it a chore that they have to do.

Just gave this a quick play. Not sure if you're looking for feedback, but I just wanted to say I really like the interface, the design, the colors. It looks great. The gameplay, I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do at first, kinda reminds me of an old Facebook game 'Mafia' which was turn based simulation like this. I was addicted to that for a while. I only had two pieces of advice which I think might really help in this case:

1 - The interface looks great, but it doesn't tell me what to do. You can make tooltips when you click or hover on each button and label that explain what everything does. You could also have a general (?) 'HELP' or 'HOW TO PLAY' with brief instructions.  "Click things to do actions. Each actions costs time and sometimes money. Do things to stay alive and build your character and gain some adventure"

2 - The music changing for every scene was a bit too much. I think you can keep 1 song playing and just change the "ambient sound".

That's all. Nothing critical. Hopefully that's useful and not annoying to hear :) I think it's interesting and I want to play again when I have more time.

I like the background :D

Thank you! And it's not a background haha! It's an indoor gardening simulation game, so there's no character except the plant on the windowsill XD

Cozy feeling !
