I really liked the art and UI, it looks great. Also great music, feels nice and chill. Its nice that u uploaded this project. I'm sorry you got sick, especially during the jam :( Get well soon. Finish the game, I think it could be interesting <3
the multi-screen panning was interesting. is it going to be a multi-tasking management game or are they going to be independent? i've seen that kind of multiscreen switching in idle apocalypse. definitely an interesting premise and i liked the use of the theme using the animation for UI selection!
I read your game's description and I'm Sorry to hear you got sick and couldn't finish the full scope of your plan for the jam, but it's really cool so far! Hope you feel better!! What you have is already really impressive and interesting. i love the graphics and music so far, and the visual style is really nice! I could plant all the different colored vineyards with nice pixel art, and make all of the jam trails/paths with all the colors, but no ants have spawned yet or interact with the paths/vineyards.
super cool demo already! it's an interesting premise and i was definitely hooked to see where you're taking the idea with the ants and wine-making process! sounds like it'll be really cool
the screens were connected, for example on the first screen, the ants would be connected from the trellises to the big anthill with jam lines and then each of the little anthills around the big one would correspond to tunnels on the top wall in the next layer. then you would connect those tunnels to tubs where you crush the grapes, and then those tubs would be connected again to tunnels on the bottom wall, and those connect to tunnels in the next layer, and so on. and the different colors of jam would add different effects, speeding up different processors, or the ants' speed, stuff like that.
also, i forgot that i wanted to add the tileset to the images since i didn't get most of the processors placeable, if anyone would like to look at those. thank you for your very nice comment! i'll come back for another alchemy jam for sure, so hopefully next time i have something more playable :D
You have an interesting premise. Perhaps you will be able to finish this, some day.
Thank you! Hopefully I get around to it, I'm out of juice for it at the moment but I know what I have to do for the rest, when I find the motivation
I'm so sorry to hear you got sick! Your game has a really interesting premise, and the visuals and audio you pulled together for it look great. Maybe someday you'll come back to finish it out or at least take it to the prototype stage?
Thank you! It was bad timing on the sickness, I haven't been sick in like two years. But what's likely to happen is sometime in the next half a year I'll want to finish the song I used for this, add another section or two. When I do that, it'll probably give me the motivation to finish the game. I enjoyed making what did get made, regardless.
