This is a very cute game! Can the cat talk? I didn’t quite understand the concept of heat conservation. 5/5

Really nice idea for the minigame. it's simple but super efficient and engaging.
This was cool, the tree cutting minigame was tough but satisfying to complete! Nice work!
This was a really cute chill game <3. Honestly you guys didnt even need a timer as it added unnecessary stress to a game with a chill vibe. The tree cutting mechanics were also fun, and I really enjoyed how there were smaller lines, but you get as much wood as the lines you hit, so a skilled player can get more wood but an unskilled player will still be able to receive some wood. I would have liked to see the limitation be used more in the game, but the overall game play and design are solid :)
In hindsight, you're probably right about the timer. I think I implemented it because I wanted there to be at least an idea of pressure as I couldn't imagine anyone taking more than 5 minutes, but perhaps no idea of pressure would have been better.
Thanks!
Dont worry I made the same mistake in my game. I made the enemies too aggressive for a casual walking game. If your interested in more about this, I highly recommend looking up Ludonarrative Dissonance. It explains some of the issues with my game and most likely yours as well. :)
I think it wasn’t intended but spamming the interact input on the wood chopping minigame allows to cut it in less than a second. I was gathering that wood fast!!! Felt good ahah. The game is super charming, well done!
Just tested myself; I think you're missing twice and hitting once, but you get wood for each swing that hits an unhit green field (Sonchou might be going without wood this winter haha).
Thanks for playing!
Charming and Quest Fetching. The whole village would be gone without her, she is simply amazing
Really cute and cozy game. I loved the art and the concept!!! <3
Short, simple, cozy
Love the wholesomeness of the whole thing ~w~
It’s a small and simple game, but if you look a little deeper, there’s actually quite a lot that went into it. Creating quests, adding a minigame for chopping down trees, making characters, and writing little dialogues and interactions for them in such a short time is genuinely impressive. Great work! 👏
The art is very cozy and I love the most you gave option to pet the dog. Already pat Inu much longer than me bug fixing. Nice!
this is a really adorable game. Love the art. It’s a simple approach to the theme and limitation but I really appreciate the bite size experience. And for only a few weeks experience in godot this is impressive. I’d look forward to where you go from here! Congrats on an entry 💪 💪
