We were a team of four: Aadrika Ranjeet and i were in charge of the coding, godimMW was our composer and Gh0stySage handled the art

Software used
Godot

Use of the limitation
Since autumn was historically a season of preparation to survive the incoming winter we aproach the limitation as a win condition to our game. In order to survive the harsh winters squirrels need to reinforce their dens with moss and mud just as much as they need to gather food

Cookies eaten
Me personally 12, can't say for sure about the rest

Regarding game design, I like that you were able to incorporate two different pickups, one that you can carry many of, and another you can carry only one of. For me, the music had more of a dark scifi vibe rather than the light, foresty vibe which the art style suggests. To achieve a foresty vibe, I would avoid long synth pads and opt instead for active string/flute melodies, arpeggiating guitar, and bouncy percussion! This was a cute game with an art style that was quite beautiful, especially with those parallax backgrounds! Congratulations to the team!

The art is quite beautiful, however it is a little challenging figuring out how to get supplies in the tree. It seems like only one side of the tree allows you to put items in.

Hi thank you for the feedback. Yes, the intention was that you could only store supplies at the den's entrances at the right side of the tree. The artist was unavaliable the last day so i had to take care of the den's sprite and i'm bad at shades, so that's why it's not so obvious

I'm ready for Winter !!!

The game has really nice art, but I ran into a few bugs! I couldn't place resources on the left side of the tree (not sure if that was intentional), and the music stopped playing at some point.

Also, I'm not sure if there was an actual ending, because when I finished all the tasks, I got a Game Over screen 😭 Maybe that's how it's supposed to end, or maybe I just didn't understand it properly haha!

Overall, the game was really fun to play!!! Great job!!

The music seems to be an error with the audioplayer setting.

The game over screen is probably because we made it so the win condition required both the minimum of moss and acorns plus being at the dens entrance before the timer reached 0.

Ty for playing
