Had a nice time with the game.
Hilarious ending!
Glad you liked it and thanks for playing.
A lovely game!
A lot of attention to detail, specially the jokes that were added to the level!
Awesome work mates!
Thanks for taking the time to give it a go. Apricate the feedback.
What a cute game! I liked all the extra info and jokes added to the level. A short and fun experience, loved the ending.
Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed it!
Great music, and amazing simple game.
wished if there was more guidance for items and so (maybe its just me here XD), also the hold "E" is a bit weird input to hold.
Great work!!
Thank you! I agree XD That was actually my idea at the time. Don’t really know why we stuck with E lol.
Nice short point and click game, would've liked to see a game over condition to be worried about while doing a couple puzzles
Us too, if only we had more time. Appreciate you taking the time to play.
very fun, I liked the ending ;)
Thanks for taking the time to give it a whirl!
Loved the ending, and a short and entertaining game.
Not a fan of the rocks in the foreground blocking view, and E for move when right click is available; trying to move with WASD and use E was not comfortable.
Otherwise, nicely done.
Totally agree with you. Had three different programmers all working independently on prototypes that got mashed together in the last couple of day of the jam to make it come together. Right click on the mouse would have been great choice. Apricate the feedback and thanks for taking the time to play.
oh my goodness that is crazy, no seperation of tasks and using Version Control and Branching? 😄
All 3 of us would consider ourselves "generalist" which is great but also means everyone can and wants to work on all aspects. We all made a prototype and then took pieces of all 3 prototypes to create the end game. It was cool and an interesting way to approach the jam. Not the most efficient but it worked.
Fun Game Stove. Love the tongue in cheek ending. fun puzzles, music. Took me a while to learn I could click on objects - saw the corner of popup text - and then realized. maybe write some instructions on tomb stones? At the end, was not sure if there was more after "victory".
Hey Smoses, Dude thanks for playing man. Great idea on some in game instructions on a tombstone. If only we had more time.... Yeah, once you see the Victory text it's game over. We made a real effort to keep the scope in check for this one. Might have gone too far but at least this time around everyone should easily be able to complete the game.
It was fun experience, nice work!
I would only add a way to exit menu when you finish the game. And some visual feedback when you pull + maybe some popup text to highlight that you can interact with objects. Oher than that, cool game, crazy ending :D
Diversant, Good idea, could have made the books glow or something when the mouse passed over them. Glad you liked the ending and man thanks for taking the time to give some feedback and play our game.
Nice game with a nice twist of events in the end! Fun little puzzel and fun little text and notes all over the place!
Thank you!
Fun little game, ending made me chuckle, good job!
Thank you! Glad that you enjoyed it!
The end explains it all - ha ha. Nice mechanics also. Though the level were a rounded track but could it also be a spiral from a start to the end.
Thank you for your kind words.
Originaly the track was indeed a spiral but we had issues with camera being blocked by the assets from previous parts of the spiral. And also it would bade the track much longer for which we did not have enough time. So we switched to circle and it was a good choice in the end.
Duuuuuude 😂😂😂 I was wondering what was the purpose of that axe!
I love those puzzles, was hoping for more😊 .. nice Job..!
Ali, thanks for playing man! Glad you had fun.
Hey guys, I honestly cannot say enough good about this entry.
The carousel level design absolutely chef's kiss, I loved the music transition between areas - gave me real 'Monkey Island' feels. The puzzles were perfect for a jam game, not too difficult but not hand fed either. It had real classic point click meets little nightmares energy.
I struggled a bit with the book movement - perhaps the trigger distance was a bit small? Or I couldn't tell if I needed to have the cursor over the object while pressing E, but for 10 days, this is a lovely little game loop. The scene was simple but thriving - the twist at the end was funny, I was expecting to fight the thing behind me.
You guys should be really proud of this.
Mintee, Thanks for giving it a go. Was def going for a Monkey Island vibe. Manic Mansion from the 80's was another great point and click game I loved back in the day. We were trying to keep scope in check, but still get out an entire experience that was entertaining. We had a blast and learned a ton.
The game was fun and I liked how it all took place on one circular map. I also loved the Halloween theme, especially with the lighting and fog. I do feel like the game was a bit too quick and held my hand through everything. There wasn't really much difficulty or anything I had to figure out myself. Overall tho, definitely a fun game! Oh yeah i wasn't expecting the death at the end but whatever it takes to get invited :)
Obzibobzi, Apricate the feedback and thanks for taking the time to comment and play the game. Definitely agree this one was set to easy mode. Game Jam puzzles are a tough nut to crack. You make them to hard and people bounce off the game because they think it's a bug or poor game design. Thanks again for playing.
Silly short adventure, it seems buggy in way that I can just grab the axe right away in start.
We have deployed hotfix to deal with the issues. You can try again.
And thank you for playing our little game :)
Im stuck in the Stalactites cave room, can't find what next I need to interact with etc.
Though I did achieve the quick victory :P, with the old, going Left rather then right trick :)
Nice job on the game!
Hey there. There is a hint on the fallen stalactite when you hoover your mouse over it.
And yes, we have a tiny little bug there we need to fix with disabled collider.
Glad you have still enjoyed the game.
This was delightful I love the flavor commentary on the gravestones and scattered about in other places. Even from the intro with the music and the art you just get a vibe for the game right from the start. Well done!
Thanks for the kind words and for giving the game a go.
Fun! Love the ending LOL! ;)
This game is super cool! Reminds me a lot of games like Return To Monkey Island where you need to really observe your surroundings and collect items to solve puzzles. Also, the 3D 2D style is really nice. Felt bad for Timmy at the end though haha Love it!
Ryan, appreciate you taking the time to play our game man! Love those game man, and also Manic Manson. Was fun doing a 2.5 D scene.
