New update! It took me less than 30 seconds to fix the audio panning. I've set it to 0 and uploaded the updated version, so the music now plays normally through both speakers.

If anyone tries it again, I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know whether it sounds better now. Thanks, everyone!

It told me to use arrow keys but neither them or WASD worked, only the mouse. Also the music was only coming through one side of my headphones? You said that was intentional in another comment, but I'd warn you it just gets annoying quick. I do like the art though, and the game is impressive for 3 hours

The music was intentional, as I mentioned before. Since each room takes less than a minute to complete, I thought it would be interesting to have the sound coming more from the right in one room and from the left in another. I've seen this in other games too, but I'll keep your feedback in mind for future projects.

About the controls, I'm honestly surprised because you're the first person to report this issue. The game was made in RPG Maker MV, where the arrow keys are the standard movement controls, so they should work normally. I'll look into it anyway.

Thanks again for your feedback. These are games made in just three hours, so there's only so much we can do in that time. I sometimes feel like every little detail of my games gets picked apart, but I appreciate you taking the time to play and comment.

Update: I just tested it again and everything works fine with the keyboard!

Wow, for a 3-hour game, this looks insane! I absolutely love the graphics and the art style, it looks super professional.

Thank you so much! I'm actually planning to expand this game to at least 50 levels, and it shouldn't take me too long. From one developer to another, the idea is pretty simple. You create six different eyes: one chases you, one is friendly, one laughs at you, one kills you, one blocks your way and another makes you go backwards. Then you create a map, choose three of those eyes for each level and keep mixing them up. Add some puzzles, traps, fireballs and minigames, and I think you could end up with a really fun game!

I appreciate your reply, and your game concept sounds very interesting. Mixing up different AI behaviors and adding puzzles or traps is a solid way to expand the game. Thanks again, and best of luck with your project!

Neat game! I can see potential with it if you added some puzzle dungeon elements. The movement and collisions were a little confusing. Sometimes I could walk right over an enemy without being caught and other times I couldn't. The save system might have been a little cleaner as an automatic checkpoint system too. Overall a good game though!

It's a game jam after all, so I had very little time to make it! I'd love to add puzzles, minigames, traps, fireballs and even humans getting in the ghost's way in the future. As I mentioned in the description, some eyes are friendly while others want to steal your soul. About the save system, I preferred it this way because if you could save whenever you wanted, everyone would just save every few seconds instead of taking the risk of starting over when they die. Anyway, thank you so much for playing and taking the time to leave a comment. I really appreciate it!

Hahaha thank you so much! Some eyes were friendly, some chased you, others tried to kill you, and some just laughed at you! Really glad you liked it, thanks for playing!

The movement feels kind of awkward, which is a shame for a game where you need precise movement. The game is, in my experience, too dificult. (It's prolly a skill issue). The art is really shitty which is almost charming in a way. The music is coming from only one of my two speakers (no stereo sound).

The controls work pretty well when you use the arrow keys—it’s an RPG Maker MV game, after all. I have videos and friends who’ve beaten it in under 10 minutes, so maybe it’s a skill issue, or you’ve been using the mouse the whole time hahaha. The art style is classic RPG Maker MV: cartoon-like graphics. I’m guessing you haven’t heard of it before. The music’s stereo panning changes depending on the map. That’s intentional, so hearing it more strongly from one speaker doesn’t mean there’s no stereo sound.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to pick apart every detail of my game :)

Small update! Added two additional rooms similar to the existing ones and several directional arrows to help players find their way through the tower. These additions increased the total development time from 2 hours and 45 minutes to 2 hours and 59 minutes. Thanks for playing!
