This is a really fun game✨

It's fun as a tower defense game, but… why is digging so much fun!!! Wait, I got so caught up in digging that I ended up losing the game. Oh right—I'd forgotten my objective.

After reading other people's comments, I thought, "Oh, that's a great idea♪" It's so much fun to just dig away💕

It was a wonderful gaming experience. 😆

For what it’s worth, the “defend the pumpkin” button made the goal clear enough for me - I knew what I was doing from the start.

Maybe too clear, actually: I dug a pit right on the path the monsters walk, put two turrets next to it, and then just collected coins and watched the kill count go up like a very relaxed landlord . The pumpkin didn’t lose a single point of health. Might be worth blocking digging on the path, or capping turrets near it.

Two other things: it runs heavy and never quite feels light to control, and I really missed right-click to cancel a placement and switch back to the shovel. Nice work though!

The game mechanics are really fun. I also liked the 3D graphics and the cohesive world-building.

However, the game ran sluggishly on my system—perhaps my specs aren't up to the task?

thank you! yeah game needs to be optimized, works fine on my macbook though , its not that heavy but needs some polishing

I gave it a shot! After playing for a bit, I realized it's a tower defense game.

At first around the first wave, I didn't realize the goal was to defend the pumpkin, so I was wondering what I was supposed to do with the shovel (lol). Then I noticed you can build things like archery towers!

I only played the browser version, but the graphics felt pretty heavy and laggy, so it wasn't the smoothest experience. My PC might be part of the reason, though!

I used to play a 3D tower defense game back in the day—on Steam, I think—and it was super fun. But even back then, it was pretty heavy on the GPU, so adding options to lower the graphics settings would be awesome. Look at Minecraft—games can still be super fun even with low-poly/blocky graphics! Not sure if high-fidelity graphics are the main selling point here, but it's just a thought.

thank you for the feedback! yeah seems like I needed to optimize it a bit more, its smooth on my macbook pro but definitely can be optimized there is not much heavy calculations or graphics, will do that after the jam likely

By the way, are you familiar with the Steam Hardware & Software Survey? (Here’s the link: https://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/ )

According to the latest survey, even standard system RAM is around 32GB for about 42% of users. As for VRAM, most players do seem to have dedicated graphics cards, though!

I’m testing on a MacBook Pro, which is on the higher end spec-wise, so it runs pretty well here.

It’d be awesome if the game gets optimized so players on lower-spec machines can enjoy it smoothly too! Rooting for you, keep up the great work!

I tried this three times, but I'm still not sure what to do. Since I've never played Minecraft, maybe that would have helped. I've only managed to get one building set up so far, but I really like the graphics and style.

thanks for trying it! thats the very usable feedback! let me see if I can fix confusing parts

it's tower defense game where you have to protect the pumpkin but seems like the game has failed to communicate that ))
