the ship building is a good mechanic! it'd be cool to see more done with it!

Pretty enjoyable for a few runs. Mostly needs more content, and more reasons to build a varied ship. In the end I just filled my ship with guns and engines to the possible maximum and didn't really had much else to do afterwards with the extra scrap. You might consider extending the game via building a whole fleet.

The ship building is definitely the best part of the game, I appreciate that the enemy ships follow basically the same rules as yours. I wish there were more options to the guns themselves, right now the game felt like you're "stat checking" the encounters.
Still, really fun, great job!

I got absolutely hooked on shipbuilding! It was so much fun!

Sometimes, an enemy would get right on my tail, and no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't shake them off or turn away!

Also, the frogs are so cute lol.

Neat game!

Really cool idea, lots of fun.

Was a little confusing, and still am not sure I fully understand all the mechanics.

Some game jams games are just for the jam, this one would be a great one to expand on.

Impressive for one person in 9 days, nice job!

Cool concept, I just built Borg-Cubes, my shipbiulding skills are not that great 🫣

Impressive technical work! I enjoyed the ship building, and seeing the different enemy ship designs. Without obstacles or different options, though, flying to the signal felt extraneous. Using the mouse to fly and aim not immediately intuitive to me either. I could see myself getting sucked into this for much longer with some balancing and extra options, though. Great submission!

This is fun! With more ship building options, I could definitely invest a lot of time. I feel like being able to add different types of crew members would be fun too, rather than just ship parts

Really really fun, could see myself getting lost in this for hours

amazing game! a little tutorial or even just some more clear ui/indicators would allow another big chunk of players to get past the learning curve

I really like playing this game, the only real complaint I would have is that sometimes I get into a scenario where the enemy ship is circling around me, and i cant turn fast enough to get in turret range :D But that could just be a skill issue :D Great game

So invested in this one, plenty of fun to play! I wish there was a clearer visual indication of hull vs empty slot, but that might just be a me-thing. The frog crew are precious!

Very interesting mechanics. Reminds me of some old web games I used to play.

I’ve played around 10 games this is my favorite so far. I just get trapped sometimes with the building because of the readability or my dumb brain. But congrats on the fun project!

Really impressive, hats off. I would really like a look-ahead on that camera though, it was hard to see where I'm going

Oh, super creative idea! First time I see something like this! Can't imagine how much work this was, specially for a single person, this game looks like quite a workload to implement this whole scope. Just the fact that you were able to plan and finish this is already impressive, and if you plan to keep working on it a few small changes to the controls/camera would already make it feel a bit more polished.
