Great play on the jam theme. Some funny interactions too. I couldn't figure out how to start bartering for items without getting caught, but this was fun! Thanks for making it.

Theme-wise it's such a great fit, I wish I came up with this idea! The gameplay is a bit barebones as it is, but it has the potential to be a great game, and for a game jam it works well. I played a couple of runs and had fun. Good job :)

This is such a fun take on the “Lucky Last” theme! I really like the idea of having to work your way to the back of the queue instead of the front. The time pressure makes it even more interesting, since you have to figure things out before the Reaper calls your name.

I like what you chose to do with the theme! It was fun to play :)

Loved the concept! I agree with others that with a more polished execution this could have been really cool. It was unclear when the reaper would see me or not, and there were a few moments that brought me out of the world, like what a character would say "Sorry, trading is on cooldown" :D

Thank you for the feedback.

Yeah I realized i forgot to take out the generic sorry, trading is on cooldown line that i used for testing I was suppose to replace that with a more appropriate line and the reaper mechanic kinda fell through the cracks on me

I think there’s a really solid idea here but I struggled to execute on my plans. It seemed like people were moving around me and i’d lose my spot in the queue and people would tell me to return to my marker but I didn’t know where i was supposed to even be anymore heh.

Would love to see you take a pass on streamlining some of the interactions because I think this could be a really fun and tense game!

Nice job!

Yeah I originally was going to handle the queue differently where you could swap anywhere in the queue and there were more types of souls with different personalities but then feature creep kicked in and i started adding other things when i should of just polished the queue system.

Well i suck at staying in queue, LOL!
nobody wants to swapppp. Also nobody asked me to do anything. Maybe i played it wrong but it could have more time to explore environment give someone something for them to swap with us. Nice experience.

A bit of a strange experience. The presentation is definitely high quality—the UI looks great and the music is really well done. However, gameplay-wise, other than asking characters to swap spots in line, I struggled to understand the main goal or purpose of what I was doing. Needs more substance and a clearer gameplay loop.

I think I need to stick to one Idea and follow that path instead of trying to go in multiple directions

Theres a lot of things going on here and I don't think they all work together. I love the core concept of having to move back in line but and finding items to placate or convince the NPCs but I think the map being so small and the player being able to pick up multiple items undoes most of the challenge and tension from the first two mechanics. UI could also use some polishing and helper text could be removed. I think looking into game persuasion mechanics (Oblivion, Vampire Masquerade, etc.) would really help elevate this or sticking to just the 'find item in large house before you get called' loop but expand on it. Overall a quite decent game with a fun loop!

There was more i wanted to do with the finding items to bribe and trying to not get caught but first time doing this i think i tried to go in to many directions.
