This is a pretty awesome game! I can't believe I missed this during the rating period, though....

Anyways, here's my playthrough of your game at the 37:19 mark of this video.

This game is lovely.

The sound effects and music have just the right crunch to match well with the visuals.

And the effect with the tiles coming in when entering a room is pretty nice to.
Good stuff overall.

An isometric dungeon crawler with spooky monsters is a great mix of classic gameplay and Halloween atmosphere. The isometric view is a nice choice for a jam game, and it makes me curious about the monster designs. Congratulations on getting it submitted right before the deadline! If you have a spare few minutes, I would love for you to try my entry, Last Sweep.

The checkerboard effect is crazy cool! I would love to see this developed more once the jam is done as right now it's a bit simple but has a lot of potential for additional depth (e.g. spamming shield auto wins most fights and the boss seems to just be a stat check)

Death to Chaos Knight! I could snowball easily, felt powerful very quickly and that was satisfying.

The music was a bit too repetitive in my opinion, but true to old classic games. Good job!

Literally my type of game, pretty smart map design, the music, the art, the animation are all amazing. But if im being honest, the gameplay was fun, but the upgrades are so OP, making the game feel pretty easy. Also when fighting the boss, I can just spam my movement so far and he will never catch me, then just spam the shield lol (movement upgrade might be too strong).

A fantastic time, I loved playing! I think the movement being so restrictive at first before becoming more freeing as you collect items is a fantastic move, it makes it feel great when you can fly around the board to get to exits and hit enemies from afar. I can see something like this being the first level of a huge game, great work!

I really liked the concept of the this and the transitions between stages was a really neat effect. My main feedback would be that I'd have liked to have used keyboard controls or been able to click in a general direction and have the knight move there even if I didn't click on the specific tile he would move to. Just something to make navigation a little easier

Incredible concept. I could tell the Binding of Isaac inspiration.

Not much to say other that great work.

Cool entry, really liked to look and after you get the hang of it and plan around the different enemies it becomes very fun :) Good job!

I'm also into spooky puzzles. Nice entry. See if you can solve the room in my game and breakout.
