THIS GAME ROCKS!!!!! WTF I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. Easily game of the jam for me and unironically one of my favorite games of the year outside the jam. Immaculate game feel with the music and gore, I love the title and how you're just thrown in without much explanation beyond that. The game play is so simple but so effective and I love the idea of modifying specific sides of your block. It's remarkable how good this came out in just a week. I would genuinely pay money for an expanded version of this (it would barely need anything more to fit in line with other simple indie horrors like carrion or endoparasitic)

Developer(+1)

That's some high praise, thank you so much!! ❤
The idea of expanding on this game in the future is one we're very much considering, so stay tuned! Will definitely be posting about it if we do :]

soooooo much fun 😄 pure dopamine, perfect after a long workday, and the sound is great! would love tougher enemies and maybe a little puzzle to exit the level once everything's dead. still waiting on my slab 🧱

ours is Balsam, a narrative-heavy spooky one about a lost kitten looking for his mom. would love a rate!

Developer

Thanks so much!
The enemy behaviour and challenge is definitely something we'd like to improve on in post-jam updates! I also like the idea of this game occasionally being more similar to its puzzle game roots, yeah... you already kind of get it with the room navigation, but there's fun potential for a bit of variety there!
Slab incoming 🧱

Playing a 200 ton concrete slab with a vengeance is a brilliant reverse-horror idea, and the tagline sold me right away. Other players are raving about how polished it feels, with great sound and lighting, which is impressive for a jam entry. Congratulations to you both on such a well-received submission! If you have a spare few minutes, I would love for you to try my entry, Last Sweep.

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much!
And hell yeah, will check it out for sure :]

This is so brutalist. There's conc and it's creteing all over the place.

THIS IS PEAK.

Only complaint is sometimes the framerate dips when there are a lot of projectiles. Other than that, THIS IS PEAK

Developer

Yep, seems we were testing the limits of the web renderer with some of the VFX - will be doing a performance pass post-jam :)
Thanks for playing!

Concrete story. Solid gameplay. Hard difficulty. This game rocks.

Developer

Solid? Hard? Rock? Sounds like some kind of... heh... concrete.....
thank you! :]

Never in my life did I think I would want to be a slab of concrete. Wow. This game is super fun and super polished. This could legitimately be a full-blown Steam game.

The web version wasn't working for me though.

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much! Glad we could fulfil your newfound concrete dreams 🙏
Not sure what would be up with the web build - what exactly didn't work about it, if you don't mind me asking? Would be good to fix if we can

Submitted

It justs didnt load. It said something about the pck file.

Developer

good to know, will look into it 👍

200 TONS OF CONCRETE, Blood on Cement, 2026
(high praise, thank you 🙏)

Super cool concept! Are the rooms randomly generated, or is there a map that gets followed? I couldn't tell either way

Developer

Thanks! Yeah so the individual rooms are handmade, but the map layout is randomly generated, and the enemy spawns within the rooms are somewhere in-between - each enemy spawn location is given a pool of enemies that scales up in difficulty as you progress, so harder and harder enemies appear in the same rooms later on in a run!

Submitted(+1)

Really suprised how good the game, extreamly fun to play!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed :]

I try the game without expect much of this game

The game surprised me how good it is!!!!!. By

( make you play as a rock!!!!!.. Where you have to both beat enemies.. And health yourself by move away from enemies.. To keep forward.. And get later on hard do that both when there more enemies attack you in different ways..  And I honestly don't see games do this idea before.. Which makes this game more special!!!!... Plus.. Looks amazing.. And the music fit this games even more!!!!.. And you can Upgrade your rock to be more powerful!?..truly amazing!!!!!!. Is one these few games I might come back to try again just because how fun it is!!!! ( Especially if I lost.. Make me try want to try again :) ) My only problem I have with this games is.. Is sometimes could be too difficult?..but I honestly don't mind all that much.. Especially when you keep moving forward.. And make me interesting the game more.. So.. Good job!!!!!! )

Developer(+1)

Yeah the balancing of certain rooms and enemies can be a bit wacky sometimes, definitely room for improvement there. Glad you enjoyed though, thankyou!!

Holy Moly how was this done in a week bro. You guys cooked in this game. Feels very SCP foundation. Very Fun

Developer

Wearing that inspiration on my sleeve, haha! Thank you!! :]

I enjoyed this game a lot! Very satisfying to splat everyone, quite hard but challenging, reminded me of Ape Out. The upgrade aesthetics were really nice, game feels very complete. Good job!

Developer

Oh gosh yeah I love Ape Out! Definitely an inspiring one. Thank you!

Submitted(+1)

Okay, that was awesome. I really enjoyed the pace of the gameplay and the variety between runs. I’ve never seen a monster scarier than that concrete block.

Developer

haha thanks!! many don't consider how scary a slab of concrete can be until it's barrelling towards them with a lust for blood :3

Submitted(+1)

very fun game its very satisfying.

Submitted(+1)

ah another concrete enjoyer. seriously fun game! lots of game feel and juice to this one. it was super cool to see the concrete slab was actually flesh inside

Developer

And yes, the concrete block contains a special treat within... :)

A very satisfying and creative approach to a classic game! This is fantastic, I really would like to see this game expanded with more content - it is fast paced and immediately you get rewarded.... I was hooked instantly!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a bunch! We feel the same haha, will see where it goes - will probably see some updates in the future at the very least :)
