I love the aesthetic of this game. The environments remind me of how Halloween felt in old Disney movies or fairytales. The environments were very surreal and interesting to explore. I liked the bit where you have to walk through the air, guided only by the pillars - very cool idea.

I got stuck after lighting all the fireplaces around the statue. The symbols started to rise from the centre pillar but I'm not sure what to do after that... I ended up jumping off the side and got jumpscared by the monster xD

Great entry!

Thanks so much for playing!

For reference you have to jump on the pedestal after lighting the fires to complete the game! Its just a really simple end sequence effect so you didn't really miss much lolol!

The graphics and aesthetics were cool I like starting in the graveyard and having an environment I can explore. The jump felt a bit too floaty and the jump scares were a bit random but overall nice game.

Love the aesthetic and the horror vibes of this game. Played it on the browser and there were some times that the game freezes. But overall great job making this in just 1 week!

Cool! The game reminded me of old horror movies from the 90s, I especially liked the black-and-white screens with the monster - it was very stylish (: I played in the browser and there were periodic freezes, the segment with the invisible bridge did not seem the most obvious, and when walking down the stairs, if you look down, something bad happens. Otherwise, everything seems to be fine! Good luck!

That was pretty well made and I liked the environments, it seems that got that down pretty well which is the hardest part of making 3D games imo. Also a working web build, which can be tricky for 3D with Godot cause you have to use the compatibility renderer which can really gimp or break visuals if you don't plan around it.

I do wish there was more story, and that scares were more varied or used more sparingly. Cause, while it was surprising at first it became less shocking as I saw the same scare over and over again. Some kind of story you uncover as you play could go a long way in improving the experience, and finding different ways to surprise the player can improve the fear factor.

I'm very impressed with this game. The visuals, sounds, and the ambience were top notch. The story wasn't clear though, and the game kept hanging up, but that doesn't take away from this marvel piece. The jump scares were cheap and didn't add anything to the game in my opinion.  Well done!

Man that death screen surely got me xD. I really loved the atmosphere, the visuals and sound effects were great, the level designs were also pretty good. Amazing job.

Really nice horror experience! I especially enjoyed the SFX and sound design, they really helped build the atmosphere. I'm personally not a huge fan of jumpscares used this way, but that's just my preference! Overall, I had a good time playing it. Great job! 👻

I really like the atmosphere of this game! I thought you did an amazing job with the lighting and environment, id love to see more from you using this style!
also I liked the flashbangs they made me feel alive

also also, I found my shark friend twice and kept bringing him on the pedestal but the beast did NOT like that! What was I supposed to do with him?

I loved the atmosphere and ragdoll-y vibe of the character! Idk why but for me personally, this type is really enjoyable. The setting gave me almost this purgatory vibe, which was really intriguing.

The story could definitely use some work w some direction tho, if you connect the fire lighting thing w something more prominent like what we're doing there or something. The jumpscares also felt rather cheap tbh, only thing that kinda made me jump was the death screen when I messed around a bit too much lol.

Overall, neat little game for a jam! (Also what is thanos doing right there-)

You have used anticipation of horror correctel but the flashes of monsters are really annoying as the game is really dark and suddenly those flashes pop up(my eyes hated it). Aside from that great job at game visuals and gameplay.

Thanks for playing! And yeah, I definitely am considering a different approach for jumpscares for the future.

Love the 3d models and got flash-banged many times lol. Good sound design and liked the lighting the torches and fires. Tho I did have freezes when playing but it did not stop me from playing. Good Job :)

I liked it; the only downside was some technical issues. The game kept freezing on me constantly; aside from that, I must say the surrealism was quite well done.

Thanks for playing! and yeah the web build is unfortunately really taxing on what the browser is able to deliver performance wise. I have a few things ive been trying to help cut down on the material loading lag so hopefully that can be improved somewhat in the future!

It a was weird and funny expirence, very good on the visuals and sound design. The scariest part was the ending with all those screams. Still, definetly something more gamey like having to use the torch on specific order or stuff like that would imporve the expirience.
