Very nice concept, loved the peeping effect and the art is creepy and awesome too!
Really interesting and original concept! I love the idea of peeping at animals and having to figure out which ones are real and which are mimics. The atmosphere and creepy animal sounds make the experience even more unsettling. The fishing mechanic is also a nice touch. Great job!
Such a creepy and original idea. Peering down the hole, never sure if the animal is real or a mimic, keeps you tense the whole time, and it’s a great take on the Lie theme. The art and sound design really sell the atmosphere, and the ending animation was excellent. My one suggestion: when you die, it’s hard to tell what got you, so a clearer reveal of the mimic would make deaths feel fairer and even scarier. This could easily grow into a bigger game. Great work!
wow very tense game! some are not animals
oh wow I thought I was invincible right until some sh*** got me. haha well done, I like the art!
Damn it really makes me goosebumb.
Animal sound : creepy...
Protagonist when starving : super duper creepy...
But when i died, i don't really know what hit me. Should be more clear.
It could be one of the mechanic for a larger game, if the dev wants to make it.
The animation in the end is a chef's kiss. Love it. Good job!
Peeping at animals down a hole while some of them peep right back, with mimics as the liars, is such a fun and original concept. The hook-and-line mechanic with the option to cut the line when things go wrong sounds like a great risk, and I love that your page explains exactly how the game fits the themes.
I'd also be so happy if you could check out my entry, Forever. It's Valentine's-week dating-app dread in about 10 minutes, with two endings. Honest ratings and feedback are really appreciated, and thanks for reading!
I like the game. It really feels completed. It has good sound design, art and interesting gameplay
