As a fan of both DnD and touch typing games, this really is right up my alley. I love your interpretation of the theme, the art is quite good and the music is fantastic! Great job! If you do end up expanding it further, I’d definitely come back for more. :D

The progression, the art, and the ambience really sell the story of the game. It’s so well done, and the design is so beautifully executed! Really well done!

This game is so genuinely infuriating XD

Really fun, though! I love all the different mechanics implemented throughout the levels. Great job!

Haha, glad you found it chill! I’m impressed that you found the secret ending!

Thanks so much for playing!

This was great to read through. It’s incredible to see what you connected to the gameplay! It wasn’t our intention at all to make the game about anything symbolic in particular, but I definitely see your allegorical interpretation. Our main idea was purely about choice. Is there really ever only one option? Maybe you should try and see what other (less obvious) choices you can make or ways to interpret what you’re being told?

Thanks so much for playing!

The first 5/5 I’ve played!

Really well done. The atmosphere is tense, the narrative is super compelling and interesting. The writing is the best in the jam that I’ve played so far hands down, and the core mechanic does a great job of keeping you on your toes and being challenging, but not too punishing.

Absolutely fantastic job. I would love to know more about the mystery itself, and the ending really got me. Congrats on your first solo jam game!

A really fun game! I love the Supermarket Simulator music LOL. Simple and sweet. I’m terrible at the game it seems but even though it took me a while to get past the first few rooms I had a blast playing it!

On browser, the tutorial controls aren’t working. I’m able to move the cursor around, but I can’t lock in the direction or launch the chair. But it works just fine in the main game. If you end up polishing it after the jam, I’d love to see how it develops. Well done!

Gorgeous platformer. I absolutely love the visuals and the audio, and the dialogue is so well written! Pressing the spacebar works a solid 75% of the time it seems, but it’s not that big of a deal. This is such a unique take on the theme (I expected more people to use slow burn as in the romance genre). Fantastic work!

Such a sick game!! I love dungeon crawlers, and even the simple graphics work so well for this game. It feels complete and polished, and while skill is definitely necessary to succeed it’s not unnecessarily hard. Very well done!

Cool little mystery game. I couldn’t find the second clue for Day 1, and I did manage to fly out of bounds in the lobby at the start lol. But great job overall!

The little “pweesh” and “poofs” of the candle lighting and going out is surprisingly satisfying. The puzzles seem very well thought out, too! It’s definitely one of the more creative puzzle games I’ve played in a while. Really well done!

I like the possibility of having different endings, and the art is pretty good!

The game over screen (if that’s what that is?) is so, so long. It could be a fun platformer, if developed a little bit more. I also like the design of the little guy you play as. Keep it up!

Definitely a “slow burn” kind of game, the discs take forever to burn XD

Love the gameplay loop, and all the little details on the desktop like the functional music player at the top. Really great job!!

I really like the music, and the dialogue is pretty funny. I was a little bit confused on how the turn-based system worked, and it’s a shame that once you choose an action there’s no way to undo that action in case you change your mind or missclicked. All in all, pretty entertaining. Can’t wait to see what you do with it going forward!

I had so much fun playing this game. The voice acting is top-notch and got a good laugh out of me! The controls are a little wonky, and I’m not sure if being able to spam the unstuck button to launch yourself up is intended.

Otherwise, it’s a very fun and incredibly rage-inducing game. Great job!

I like the premise! It’s simple and logical. It reads more like a rage game because of the wonky physics and controls (I spent a good 20 minutes on the tutorial alone), but it’s fun regardless of if that was intentional or not. The music and the art are sufficiently goofy. Great job!

I can’t give a rating for the game jam rankings (I’m part of a team) but overall I’d give this game a 4/5!

The atmosphere is insanely good, I love the framing and definitely see the Citizen Sleeper inspiration (also love that game)! The art is so well done, and the story is incredibly unique and compelling too. It caught my eye immediately and I’m very glad I played it. I love your interpretation of this Rakugo story.

I think a little tweaking on the controls to do things like skip dialogue without skipping choices, or implementing a save file system to be able to explore the different endings easier would be nice.

Well done!

Foley is always fun, and the sounds are pretty satisfying imo!

I can’t rate the game myself as I’m part of a team (How To Build a Campfire). But, if I could, I’d give it a solid 4/5 overall!

Fantastic job on your first game, congrats! The controls are incredibly smooth, the game is fun to play, and it’s pretty well executed all things considered. Keep up the good work, can’t wait to see what else you put out!
