How does the game fit the theme?
We took inspiration from the age-old internet trend of making stuff up on the internet for fun. Even if information seems to come from a legitimate source, it can still be misrepresented.
You can't really trust anyone online.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some sound effects were taken from Freesound.org. Attribution Text will be in the description!

This was so much fun! Love the desktop aesthetic, and the gameplay is great. I like the report system "three strikes and you're out" method of cutoff too. 100/10

Game wouldn't go fullscreen. Put the player's mouse cursor in hidden mode.

It's called we do a little lying on the internet >:) . Great game team, looked great, and I felt very clever manipulating certain buzzwords to create "alternative" news lines.
this concept has a huge potential you really have to continue on it after the jam.. W game!.. thats a solid game ( i can imagine a youtuber playing it if you actually expand on it )

Such a creative take for this theme, I don't think I've seen anyone take this angle. I loved the art, I loved how responsive everything is. Feels good to spread misinformation. Great job!

This is such a unique game, from its art to its sfx, it’s amazing. I do kinda wish there was some chill very small office music as to not cover up all the sfx, but I love it even if you don’t!

When open socially I think it should have arrow navigate to "say something panel" because at first I thought it's just decoration :D

Insinuating all sorts of things using randomly chosen words is a common practice among the media. Playing this game myself, I can see just how much fun they must be having. The game is fun to practice, good job !
