Thank you for reading and for your feedback! I get how the Paladin could seem incidental, as he is encountered randomly in the garden, though his wanderings directly affect the garden. I wanted to include a table of hooks for the module but ran out of space and time.

The description of the Blanched Legion is key to understanding the Paladin's significance. What time-frozen message the Paladin is carrying, why he is being hunted, and what the implications of the message being delivered may be are up for interpretation, in-line with the Troika's implied setting and flavor.

This is a very accessible and well-written 1-page dungeon with a great map in it. I am only passingly familiar with DURF but it is fun to see an adventure statted for that system. The "verdant breath" of the dragon is fun and unexpected element! If I ever run DURF this is what I'm running.

Thanks for reading and sharing your reflections! Mechanically, Troika is an adaptation/retroclone of Fighting Fantasy.  NPC and monster Miens are baked-in to that system. I wanted to write full Mien tables for the other NPCs in this adventure but ran out of room.

Troika is also the name of a city at the center of the game's implied weird science-fantasy setting. Troika city bears some resemblance to the city of Sigil from the d&d 2e setting Planescape, filtered through the thematic tone of writers like Terry Pratchett, Gene Wolfe and M. John Harrison.

Thank you! I'm glad it landed well for some folks. This is encouraging feedback.

Thank you for your compassion for this lost soul!

Love the art, the writing and the theme of this! My only gripe is that I would love to see that beautiful woodcut-style Hexmap accessible without the funny PLU# sticker on it. I like to print out maps like these and put them on the table in front of my players.

Great work, those maps are amazing! Looks like a fun one to run.

Thank you! It is encouraging to hear I was able to convey a bit of that Troikan essence in the writing.

This is a fun and beautifully put-together location. I am going to for sure put this in a Cairn campaign!

Love the art, theme and writing and want to run it!

Thank you!

I have been running Troika games for a couple of years now and I love it. Some of the most fun I've ever had with this hobby! I plan to make more adventures, hopefully my design skills will improve with them.

Thank you! It's a Brother's Dalziel engraving from the 1850s.

I love this, I've been on the lookout for Mesopotamian-themed ttrpg material and will use it when I get the chance!

I would love to buy this module but I don't have Paypal! Would love an alternative means of payment to be available.

Thanks for the feedback! Formatting and organization are things I'm working on and can get better at.

Any plans for a print run of issue 6? I looked at Space Penguin Ink distro and didn't see it there.

Hello jakemartingraves, yes put my entry anywhere it makes sense to do so in the final document!. I made mine a passageway because I assumed most entries would likely be room-like. Hope that is OK.

Sent you a draft!

I am close to finishing my draft of the Spellzard adventure, and I've actually playtested an abbreviated version of it. Where can I send it to you?

Great! I'll chip away at it and send you a write up. So far it's just a two or maybe three-location adventure (including a village and a dungeon). Probably a one-shot designed to launch people into a game with minimal prep or exposition.

This adaptation of AFF is brilliant, and I love it. Learned about the game from a comment on the Troika! reddit, and glad I came across it. I am working on an adventure for Spellzard that I hope I can coax some friends or some local table into playtesting with me. I will send a draft if you are interested in it!
