He is just a rookie ^^'
He has yet to learn how to spot the most advantageous spot lol.
I ADORE the visual elements of the game and the core concept of someone (in this case a cat) who is scared of the world. however the controls are more frustrating then fun, you can't gauge the distance you jump and the fact that you cant make any correction make it unfortunate that there are moments where the jumps feel more blind and random rather than precise. also cause you cant make any corrections when you jump you also cant when you fall which caused me to miss a basic ledge a few times.
the direction you need to go also seemed rather unclear to me as I wasnt aware of the fact you could wall climb.
the enemy designs were amazing and really fit the aesthetics so well however the boss doesnt have a tell on which attack itll use making it very hard to respond on time.
overall I loved the direction of the game tho I thought it wouldve been a more regular platformer instead of a precision platformer ^^'
either way I enjoyed it!
the visuals look SO GOOD! easily the best part of the game for me. The gameplay itself I enjoyed tho there wasnt much puzzling to do in order to figure out who ate the cake. I enjoyed how the characters were written as well! however pausing the game during the opening cutscene doesnt stop the dialogue which leads to the book obscuring the opening which is rather onfurtunate ^^'
love the way the game plays its nice and snappy and gets to the point. it would be nice to see some feedback from the opponent like seeing them discarding and drawing new cards and maybe they cheat during that part.
honestly amazing project especially for something made by 1 person! wonderfully done ^^
Humphrey :(
The play and quit buttons moved just a bit off screen for some reason? also the walking speed is too slow. the gameplay loop is interesting as an idea however I couldnt fully understand how to raise my own reputation. also when I got Humphrey sent off to the butcher I could still gossip about Humphrey.
loved the gameplayloop. It was a bit unclear why you'd pick anything besides drivers as they are the best way I think to find undercover cops.
I tried upgrading my hand but it detracted only 5 dollars and didnt increase my hand size, also upgrading cards didnt seem to do anything but remove the cards from my deck leading me to game over.
