I'm not sure what you mean?

You should be able to click "get the bundle" then either select a payment option, or click the "no thanks, just take me to the downloads link".

From there you can download any of the games you like.

Is that what you are asking about or something else?

Thanks! I think everything's gonna go pretty good.

You're welcome, thats for the approval!

You're welcome, thank you!

Hello! You may have already got an email about this, sorry if I'm doubling up, but its time to approve the charity bundle, you should be able to do it through this link /b/3605/indie-charity-bundle-for-accessibility-in-ttrpgs-dots-rpg

The sooner this gets done, the better! Thank you for taking the time to submit and read this, and sorry for any inconvenience!

Hello! Hopefully you have received an email about this, but it's time to approve the bundle so your submission can appear in it! You should be able to do it through this link /b/3605/indie-charity-bundle-for-accessibility-in-ttrpgs-dots-rpg!!!!

Hello! The jam has finished submissions, and participants now must approve the move to a bundle!

I'm not entirely sure how to do this but /b/3605/indie-charity-bundle-for-accessibility-in-ttrpgs-dots-rpg that link may help!

Tell me if you have any trouble, I sent an email about this so sorry if this is a double for you!

Awsome! It definitely works as is, but tell me if you ever try and update it so I can check it out, and welcome to the jam!

Thanks for the submission, I like the concept and that it gives you lots of opportunities to build out the story of the town! Glad to have it in the bundle.

Since I looked through it anyway here's a bit of feedback.

I think the way the final resolution and fatigue work could maybe use a bit of improvement. It seems like you can just use and repeat the  drafting action over and over to get rid of some without consequences, making fatigue as a whole seem kind of pointless.

And the final resolution being one roll, with one being a face card for 11, makes succeeding or figuring things out  tough regardless of any of the game leading up to it, which I find a little bit unsatisfying. And the stat that cant be used for this roll should never be +2 as a result.

The actions are a bit lackluster too with only 5 and some of them kind of bleeding together for me.

This final bit of critique is all personal, I'm sure other people would have the opposite opinion,

But in a game like  this part of the fun is discovering the answer, rather than writing it yourself, so I would personally like more concrete prompts of things in the village that relate to the mystery or details of the lives of the people there.

I looked through it, you really went the extra mile making sure it would be a polished complete adventure with plenty of extra details and expanded content!

I didn't have time to read that closely but everything looks good, the biggest change (rather than addition) might be the removal of the twist around armon, but I don't know if that is no longer part of the lore or just not established in this adventure, I didn't catch many references but maybe the shower attack (and armon's situation as a whole potentially) is a psycho reference.

I intend to really look through the adventure in detail since you've put so much effort into it, and give some more feedback (certain things like monster stat blocks I really just glanced at, but even once I look more I'm not great with dnd balance so I might not have much to say) once I have time.

If I had to nitpick, there is no mention of the party resting in the book I'm pretty sure. It should be fairly obvious that they can rest in GRAMs guild along with dame gothel between trials if need be, but making it explicit might not hurt.

Thanks for submitting this! I'll need a free copy so I can check it.

Thank you for your submission, definitely a novel concept!

Maybe a little hard to understand on its own, but your comment explains it well and seems to match the document.

I did! I think it's pretty good!

The only thing that's areal pressing concern is the terminology around "spending" fatigue, it makes it really rad to understand the rules on first read through, but I did figure it out in the end (I think) so even that's not game breaking.

You're welcome! Thanks for responding, and all the effort! If you're leaving this version up, could you change the title or description to indicate it's a legacy version at some point?

Thanks! No pressure, I'm hardly the arbiter of what works in a ttrpg and it can be highly subjective.

As we discussed on reddit, I'll have to remove this if there isn't significant progress before the submission window closes, so don't forget to update the version on itch!

I'd contact you on reddit, but your comments, maybe even account, are deleted.

Thanks for taking the time to submit! I think it's a good addition to the bundle, and I like the tone and expansive gm tools, but there are some issues.

First, the most significant one is that the terminology for fatigue points is highly inconsistent and effectively contradictory. Gaining a fatigue point should not be the same thing as expending one (especially since regaining one appears opposite to both), unless I am completely lost on how the fatigue system is supposed to work that seems to be the case. There are many other terms that are used in regards to fatigue at various points such as used, and I would suggest you clean up the language a bit and get rid of some of them.

The rest don't really matter by comparison but they are worth noting.

In general some of the language in the rules is misleading. "Every 1 minuteunconscious, they expend 1 FatiguePoint to keep going. If they don'thave any more left, they die." Can be read as as soon as the have no more left rather than if they have no more left when it comes time for them to expend another.  I believe the latter is meant based on first aid. The ward spell says to ignore the number rolled for certain numbers, but reduce damage by the roll of a 1d6, which is contradictory. I did not go over all the rules in details so there are likely more things like this.

I'm not sure having 2/3 of all checks made without cost or a relevant skill fail, and only around 1/2 of checks with those factors succeed (if my math is right) is really feasible in an investigative game.

Finally the identity of the game seems a bit inconsistent, combat is supposed to be rare yet I don't see any mention of how damage or involuntary fatigue cost otherwise occurs and there is an extensive list of monsters, magic is supposed to be wild dangerous and unpredictable, yet the spells have set costs, mostly information or slight influence focused outcomes, and the major risks are largely only present if you choose to over fatigue yourself, all of which come down to forgetting something without much overt variety. Also, I can't point to anything specific, but despite the smart phones it really doesn't feel like a game with a modern setting.

Neat!

It would also be cool to see ways to interact with the game that really take advantage of effecting an almost dream like state if you ever feel like expanding it, but thats just a thought.

Alright, I took a look. Definitely some fun lore and hex crawl elements, I think it's a good fit for the bundle.

Some concerns though:

It seems like there is intended to be a strong story or journaling component, but you are only prompted to journal when resting and there is no guidance on what to journal, the tables for describing hexes aren't a great fit for entire realities, and events a bit odd when they come up before you even enter the hex, and I have trouble seeing how the actions face a challenge or gaze into the abyss would come up.

I'm also not sure, when everything is action + approach, and actions and approaches are broad sweeping things,  wouldn't you just always use the approach your character is best at, making the stat meaningless?

Matches a void wards strength implies it has to be the same, but I think greater than is supposed to work too?

Its confusing to have group based safety discussion in a solo game.

Yep! Thanks, I'll take a look soon!

Thanks for the submission! I didn't find any real issues with it so its totally good for the bundle, but since I looked through it I may as well list some minor potential flaws.

I think if I were to find something to complain about, it would be that there could be a bit more of what the system is intended for in the document itself, the info on the itch page is good, but some of that in the document or a tiny bit more description of what you mean by a three act structure or whether sanity should have an effect before complete break down would be nice. But I can see how there is value in leaving things as open as possible.

Also the 3d20 method of derived stats may be a bit too swingy and being able to set a stat to auto succeed (especially in a horror based system) might be a bit overly generous... but instant death on failure in act 3 mitigates and thats all sort of subjective.

I also took a look at spooky cats, and I really like that you made a more cozy low stakes variant, and that the tone is described in detail.

Thanks so much for your submission!

Since it is a paid project and I need to look it over to make sure theres no big issues with the file/content/mechanics, could you send me a copy?

If you don't I may have to remove it as a submission just in case, sorry for any trouble.

Thank you so much! Feel free to ask any questions, and definitely tell me how it goes if you try, I'd love to hear what it's like to attempt it solo!

Thanks for your submission, I like it a lot! Definitely the most in depth solo game I've seen.

I was a little confused about how you are supposed to tell when a situation calls for block vs dodge though, but thats the closest thing to a big flaw I could find, nothing huge.

A few other things I may as well mention  cause they stuck out to me,, classes probably aren't that well balanced, base agent in particular... but thats not a huge issue for a solo game.

The diplomacy warp is probably too strong.

"What is your greatest flaw? When facing challenges related to these statements, add +1D to your Action Roll."

A bit incongruous

Momentum from reflection being non combat exclusive is tough to enforce.

Maybe think over how much room you give for various things on the character sheet such as traits and looms.

I didn't look at everything, the group play rules and extra tables/moves in particular, but its great that they exist!

You're welcome : )!

Thanks for the submission! It sounds like a lot of fun.

If I had to critique something it would be that saying the staff are necessarily innocent is a bit reductive (it leaves out fun options like them all being magical creatures or parts of a greater whole/hivemind), and also it might be good to direct the gm to plan a reason for  how the system of nuisances is being coordinated.

Fungus control is obvious for one, but many other entities don't have a clear means of orchestrating the run around, you could say the staff are just trained to be unhelpful but that may not always work as it seems designed for  failures to appear coincidence based at first, and could be easily found out immediately just by questioning the staff.

You're right! Thanks for the clarification.

"Take -1 for each of your meatframe's current B-tags."

"Take +1 if you have one or more Meat tags that could help you."

Based on the difference in phrasing and how, do x if one or more, is generally understood, as written you only get +1 even if you have more than one relevant meat tag, in which case if you have -4 the total is -3, making a roll of even a 6 a three and thus a failure.

Thanks for your submission! The concept and themes/questions it produces are very interesting and the double character with one being shared set up is very unique, definitely happy to have it, but since I read through it (not all the programs) anyway, I may as well critique it a bit. I'd like a response if you have a chance, to know that you can be reached at the very least as you'll need to approve the transfer to the bundle when the time comes.

The main "flaw" I think is that there is not an overarching point to the game that I can see, there is no plot and no way to win or really make progress, and if the game was exclusively intended for one shots that would be fine since the focus seems to be exploring themes, relationships, and sci-fi/horror concepts. But... since the game is intended to potentially run over multiple sessions it's a bit hard to see how that could be sustained. As an addendum to this, there is a huge focus on cx score, it seems to be the main source of "progression", but if it has any point beyond acting as a way to track relationships I'm not sure what it is, again fine for one shots but if you want the game to run longer it should probably have some clear purpose or effect given it receives so much focus.

Other minor notes:

4 b tags seems to mean you auto fail checks but this is not explicitly established.

"Write this on a Meatframe Sheet, along with their pronoun (see the section on AnimAL Eti quette , above)"

I thought meat pronouns were always it?

meats should have space to write personality stuff down on char sheets so players can rp them consistently.

Got it!
