Fun little mini games and well polished!

I played it a bit more and I think I might have been a bit too rash about the physics… they work well once you get used to them - which is part of the gameplay mastery progression I think…
I can’t quite put it well into words… maybe more than the gameplay physics themselves it’s maybe the affordances, the little quality of life things around gameplay that might make it feel a bit rough….
For example a tiny bit more predictability / preview with regard to where your hook would land if anywhere (like a little aiming cursor that shows where it would attach to if you pressed the button now…)
And I’m not expert on this at all but maybe some kind of grace periods (coyote time or what it is called?) on certain action timings… But maybe they are already there and I’m just too bad at reflexes…
Anyways I finished the game now on my second playthrough and enjoyed it quite a bit after all :)
Interesting ambitious concept but quite a lot of information that is only very difficult to parse from the very low resolution font… Also I was not quite sure what exactly is improved by the upgrades in the shop… And it was also difficult to tell how exactly the final state of the planet was calculated into reward money
Interesting take on the Falling Blocks Puzzle genre…
The gameplay itself was a bit overwhelming for me though - looking at the possible combinations while taking care of the falling blocks and mentally reserving/managing “construction sites” in progress…
Graphics, music, sound is all very polished and enjoyable to look at/listen to :)
I liked the simple tactical game mechanics and the different enemy types with clearly distinguishable behavior :) Most of the macros were a bit too random to be really useful… double shot or double melee are the really good ones I felt.
The game’s theme also caused a little chuckle in me :D as someone who started learning programming with a turtle back in highschool :D
This is a really nicely themed game with some interesting mechanics - I found it quite hard to actually find a viable secretive way to fulfill your mission since there’s not many (obvious) ways how you can make people digress from their routes to single them out…
Easiest way is probably to randomly kill someone and leave their body somewhere to cause general confusion but that doesn’t seem to be very elegant and stealthy - even if the actual killing/disguising etc happen without anyone watching.
But I enjoyed it and played a dozen sessions or so :)
Thanks for playing!
My original plan was to have this as a one shot boss battle game with actually even more unique enemies participating (there’s a very particular inspiration for that setting)….
And actually you can move and charge in 8 directions… it’s probably just difficult to do with the keyboard.
