what a cute game! I looove the vibe of the deep sea, half expected to get eaten by a sea monster before surfacing. Like a professional gamer, I didn't even read the manual, so I acted purely on instinct, but I do love this lying piece of paper. I would definitly play a game, where you woud have to complete multiple tasks to resurface, maybe face a variety of dangers and death conditions if you trust the wrong intel :D Amazing that you two managed to get a 3d game working in that little amount of time

aww thank you so much!

here is ours /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4951830 / https://liliththedeveloper.itch.io/run-makoto, a momentum based plattformer.

This was a blast, I actually felt really conflicted with the choices, however some of the choices feel a little too certain, in the sense, oh I know I can lose sanity because I have N units of sanity greater than any potential sanity loss. Do some actions result in more than one unit of loss in a category? That would make some choices more risky and force more thinking.

Okay sorry, I am in fact pretty sleep deprived with the jam and all! My bad

I wish this was possible, however Godot 4 doesn't allow web exports for C# games, so that's the limit I'm unfortunately locked behind, I really wish there would be an easy way to make it web accessible.

Man this game was so addictive I was so sad when it was over. What a great idea and I loved the skill tree and how powerful each increase felt. One small addition, I think it would be great if the upgrades on the tree, that you hadn't maxed out, woudl appear in a different color. Then I could see more easily which early upgrades I may have forgotten about or hadn't maxed out thus far.

The game unfortunately seems not to be public

Hey, if you decide to update it again, reply to me again and I will check it out once more!

I really really enjoyed the game, this was so good! Time pressure of papers please combined with crafting and combining. It took me a while to grasp the combination and the dagger is a little too arrowhead looking, but apart from that its beautiful!

1.0 was uploaded at 11:55 orignally, but overwritten by a mistake, but origiinal pre-deadline is still there. in 1.1 we fixed some misaligned tiles and tilesets

I really enjoyed the game, it's a really cool concept, though I wish I had more easy and quick access to overview all information regarding a suspicious canidate, it's not entirely clear sometimes and I have to back again and again

not even close.... t-t suffering

This was a blast! I really love the simple aesthetic with the little details like the spaceships movement, when going up and down! Sends me back in the days.

(1 edit)

Thank you for playing, we do love cats!

Good point, We are still working on it, since we did have so many ideas we couldn't fit into a game jam!
