The art style is really nice! In my opinion, just the game colliders need a bit of tweaking, but overall, the ability to interact and talk, along with the little backstory behind it, is really cute. I liked the choice of colors a lot. I would add the option to set the game to fullscreen. I strongly recommend exporting the game to an HTML version so it can be played directly in the browser. Few people risk downloading due to potential viruses, and doing so means there's a low chance they will get played

I had fun playing it! I saw that you used Claude Code—how long did it take you to make it? If it had a few more animations and mechanics, someone could easily spend a couple of hours on it

I had fun playing it, I don't know how many times I died, hahaha! At a certain point though, I got stuck and didn't figure out how to move forward. Add a way to go fullscreen! Anyway, good use of primitives as assets. I strongly recommend exporting the game to an HTML version so it can be played directly in the browser. Few people risk downloading due to potential viruses, and doing so means there's a low chance they will get played.

Unbelievable, I've been taking the same course on Udemy for a few days, hahaha! Anyway yeah, in fact I figured you did it due to lack of time; I also gave up on a few things for the same reason

I really appreciated the fast-paced movement, and I don't know what it's like to develop in Piskel and Python, but overall it's a great result! I had fun playing it and I noticed that we used the same asset for the water balls, which I recolored to turn into fireballs, hahaha! A small suggestion: I don't know if it can be done with the development tools you used, but if possible, I strongly recommend exporting the game to an HTML version so it can be played directly in the browser. Few people risk downloading due to potential viruses, and doing so means there's a low chance they will get played. I don't know if this is useful to you, but after I lost, it crashed out of the game and gave me this error

Congratulations on managing to complete the game on time! I read that it's your first game jam as well. The game has a good concept, but in my opinion, the objectives should be defined better. Also, I strongly recommend exporting the game to an HTML version so it can be played directly in the browser. Few people risk downloading due to potential viruses, and doing so means there's a low chance they will get played

The plot itself seems interesting, even if I didn't understand everything. I would add the option for fullscreen, and let the player press a key to advance the conversations, since others like me might not speak English very well and need more time to read. I really liked the art style of the characters! I didn't quite get the mechanic of feeding the fire whether it was just to keep the scene lit or if something happens if I don't do it. I strongly recommend exporting the game to an HTML version so it can be played directly in the browser. Few people risk downloading due to potential viruses, and doing so means there's a low chance they will get played

I was almost replaying it on a loop, but two levels after it restarted, I realized I had already done those levels, hahaha! As for the rest, I'm not a fan of puzzle games, but well done! Maybe the levels are a bit too intuitive, but they're definitely complicated to make—I wouldn't even know where to start. I wanted to ask you: did you happen to make the background music yourself? Are you taking a Udemy course on video game music composition? Another note is that you have to download it: I don't know if Unreal has the option to natively export to HTML in recent versions, but I don't think so, and many people don't try games in jams if they have to be downloaded instead of played directly in the browser; unfortunately, this is practically a drawback

Honestly, I didn't think so at first, but I really enjoyed the game—it's super nice! Plus, I love games where you have to farm; I start trying to optimize all the processes! The concept of burning things to progress is also cool, it's like being a pyromaniac. The advice I can give you: add background music and sound effects right away, and maybe a bit of a backstory on why you do what you do. As for the rest, simple but effective, well done! I strongly recommend exporting the game to an HTML version so it can be played directly in the browser. Few people risk downloading due to potential viruses, and doing so means there's a low chance they will get played

I also think the trees, especially after you press play, are annoying and leave you a bit confused, and I didn't understand how to move at first. I recommend using WASD for movement because there might be many people like me who have compact keyboards without arrow keys and might not figure out right away how to move the player. As for the rest, the background music fits really well. Another drawback for sure is that you have to download it—I don't know if Unreal has the option to natively export to HTML in recent versions, but I don't think so, and many people don't try games in jams if they have to be downloaded instead of played directly in the browser

Nice use of the limitation, I did something similar! In itself, I don't really love this type of game, but I found it quite hard to climb up with the water chasing me. In fact, I appreciated it for that very reason—I like games that offer a bit of a challenge. I can give you just 2 pieces of advice: 1. Maybe try to make the clickable area of the flame a tiny bit bigger to make it easier to grab, because if it isn't centered well, it's a bit annoying at times. 2. Very importantly, I strongly recommend exporting the game to an HTML version so it can be played directly in the browser; few people risk downloading due to potential viruses, and doing it this way, there's a low chance they will get played
