Yup! 3rd video is out, we had such an amazing time playing this game!

Thank you for making this game! 😁

Thank you very much! The checkpoint definitely helped! We made a second video here:

We decided we couldn’t put this game down, so we made a 3rd video, which is planned to be published tomorrow. Thanks for your hard work!

We played this on a Windows Desktop, it’s a beefy machine, so I don’t think that was the problem. The single player race worked smoothly, but when we tried a 3-player race that’s where there was some stuttering.

The same machine was recording the video, so I don’t think it was a specs problem. It seems like the 3-player race just had a bit of stutter.

Either way thank you so much for working on this game 😁

We’ve had a great time playing this game and made a YouTube video here:

Great game, looks beautiful and the gameplay is so smooth!

Hello!

We played this game and made a YouTube video:

On top of that, here’s some extra feedback:

  • Beautiful visuals! The art style works very well for this game.
  • I think the UI struggled a bit with controller support, there were a few areas that were difficult to navigate with a controller. I think that window at the end of a race is one example? Unclear if we messed something up on our side!
  • Racing feels amazing, very smooth and allows you to go really fast! It’s very satisfying!
  • We tried a 3-player race too, I think the game was struggling a bit as it would freeze briefly every few seconds.
  • The stage with the desert has one spot with a tight turn, leading to a really thin path. We all struggled on that part in the beginning. It would be nice if it was a bit more obvious where the track is!
  • We found that it’s possible to skip checkpoints, but it’s hard to tell when we did it accidentally. Maybe highlighting the next checkpoint for each player would help!
  • The lava stage was really great!

I hope this helps give you an idea of the first-time player experience. We also added a link to your game in the video description, so more people can find your game! Thank you very much for making this 😁

We played this game and had a great time! We made a video (this game starts around 24:36) on YouTube about it:

Hello!

We played your game and made a video on YouTube (we combined it with another indie game, your game starts at around 24:36):

Here’s also some additional feedback:

  • Fun game, with a fun concept!
  • It started slow, and built-up slowly. The restrictions appearing every 1-2 rounds made it easy to figure it out!
  • The game ended quite quickly, which is not a problem in itself, but from what we could see, there was no way to play another game until the next day. It would be nice if there were more options to play per day!
  • Graphics look nice and tidy.
  • The one puzzle we did was maybe a little too easy? It was perfect as a first puzzle, but it would be so much more fun if there was a big of chaos forcing us to reshuffle the whole calendar.

Overall we had a great time! Thanks for making this game 😁

Hello!

We played your game and made a YouTube video about it:

Additionally here’s some extra feedback:

  • Great fun game, with a unique concept!
  • Those holes that are on the ground are hard to see, maybe it would be better if they had a different visual that made them more obvious!
  • The switch from movement to ice/spell is fun!
  • The first boss seemed a bit easy to cheat? It seemed like when we kept our distance we could just keep shooting.
  • Second boss was so interesting!
  • There was a moment in the video where we defeated a boss and then we moved to the next level without picking up any money from the boss, not sure if that was automatically collected or not.

Overall we had a great time! Thank you for making this game 😁

Fun spooky vibes! It’s so easy to get lost to this amazing and unsettling place. Here’s our experience:

Hello!

We played your game and made a video on YouTube:

On top of that, here’s some feedback:

  • Spooky vibes, had a great time!
  • The text on the papers was sometimes hard to read. Maybe displaying it on the UI could improve this?
  • LOVED the almond water and other items 😁
  • The visuals when losing look amazing!
  • It’s very satisfying to get lost in the map and suddenly end up in a place we’ve been before. Part of the spooky unsettling vibes!
  • I think there was an issue in the beginning when messing with the settings, and the game crashed? Not sure.

This doesn’t directly address the CTR that you mentioned. Not sure what the game’s page looked like before, but it looks really nice now! Maybe one idea would be to add an animated gif on the game’s thumbnail too, which might be more eye catching?

We also put the game’s link in the video description, so hopefully that will help with more traffic. Thanks for making this game!

We had a great time playing this on YouTube:

Hello!

We played this game, had a lot of fun and made a video of it on YouTube:

Here’s some extra feedback:

  • Great concept! We had lots of fun!
  • Wish there were check points after a few difficult bits. It’s part of the game, but that would allow us to explore more content!
  • Graphics look cute
  • We had a limit of ~30 min and we only did so much progress, we couldn’t beat it in that time.
  • Introducing new traps as the user progresses to new places is a great touch!

Thank you very much for making this game!

We are following your profile now on Itch.io, so we’ll get notifications for new updates. We’ll give some space between revisiting games, but once the game has had a lot of new content I’m sure we’ll give it another go 😁

Thanks for the discord invite! We don’t have a discord account for this YouTube channel at this point, but I joined with my personal account just to keep an eye on the development of the game.

We had a great time playing this game on YouTube:

Looking forward to the full release to see how much more content there is! We dropped a follow to the dev as well, so we’ll try to keep an eye on new updates 😁

Hello!

We ended up playing your game, and made a YouTube video, so you can get an idea of the first time user experience:

We enjoyed the game overall! Here’s some extra feedback in case it helps:

  • The first selection we got was the same character 3 times. It happens in true randomness! But it would be much better if we were offered unique choices of characters.
  • Levels were fun, enemies were challenging! Nice to see different enemies have different behaviours and attack patterns!
  • It would be nice if every few levels there was a boss level (unless there is and we missed it?) or something extra challenging.
  • It would be more fun if we got more characters overall, I guess that would break the balance of the game, but it felt very difficult to get three of the same character to try out the fusion. Maybe the user can get more characters, but they can only place a certain limit of them on the map?
  • Sprites for the characters are AMAZING!

This is an alpha version isn’t it? Some of the stuff mentioned above might already be on the roadmap, but worth mentioning them just in case!

We had a good time overall, thank you for working on this game 😁

Hello!

Because of this comment, we decided to do one more episode on this:

We aim to make 30 minute videos, but we just couldn’t put this game down so we made it a bit bigger. Turns out there was lots of content we didn’t reach on the first video, so this was really worth it! We hope the video gives you a good idea of a new user experience and helps to make it even better.

This game was a lot of fun, and we really enjoyed the unexpected gameplay twists. Looking forward to the game’s full release!

We really liked this game and decided to make a YouTube video of us playing it:

On top of that, here’s some feedback we gathered:

  • The game visually looks really nice, great style and the CRT effect looked really cool!
  • The gameplay was simple to learn, aiming for 3 stars on every level was a good and challenging.
  • Moving the free camera was not ideal. It was a bit tricky to move the free camera around to plan ahead and then immediately move somewhere
  • The first boss was amazing! So thrilling to have gameplay change just for that moment.
    • Although we encountered an issue where the boss was sped up and seemed impossible to defeat? Unclear if that’s a bug.
  • The extra abilities, like jump and pass, are quite fun to use! We didn’t complete all the levels, but I hope there’s more of them!

Overall we had an amazing time, to the point where this video was a bit longer than usual, we couldn’t stop! Looking forward to the full release. Thank you very much for making this thread!

We’ve had a lot of fun playing this game. Here’s a video we made that shows what the it is like:
