This is a really interesting, unique setting! I think that you could probably use a larger font to make this more readable in print or on screens (you have a lot of space to play with here). There's a couple of spellings and I'm not sure if they're errors or they're meant to be evocative of the world (hassle, proprietor), and I would try to find a way to enlarge the really nice map you have in the spread, I didn't catch the snails at first!

Really fun concept! As mentioned by others, it's a great device for linking locations or adventures. I really like the random traveler table.

  • I find the travel mechanics a bit hard to parse. There might be a better way to present them to be easier to follow.
  • This place sleeps 17+ people with penalties for having less than a full house. There are only 13 possible NPCs. And they're supposed to change over time. So there might be too few, or too many rooms atm.

Thank you! And super real, I think I am going to need to simplify the travel mechanics and make deal with that housing conundrum before I release a post jam version

Super interesting concept. Kinda feels it blends baba Yaga's house with some of the cast from Cheers, but inside the Oregon Trail game.

The concepts are evocative. I could see this being a roaming location that PCs could return to that has changed and modulated between visits. New tavern patrons, new gossip between Beck and Tremble, or even having Bablak's skeleton becoming more of a NPC than a set piece – almost like a grumpy, crumudgeony old man that no one takes seriously and everyone loves for the crazy stuff that comes out of his mouth.

Baba Yaga's house with the cast from Cheers made me laugh out loud, that is incredible and I love it.

I like these ideas, I think I am going to turn the room carrying mechanics into something less math-y and used the room it frees up to add more stuff like this.

I mean…..it be what it be.

For me, the most innovative idea from the Jam and a module thats going to hopefully go in a lot of grab bags  with Guides thinking "lets just use this as a cool extra thing/cool joining between adventures"
There are so many small tidbits of cool little ideas/information that a Guide could grab and lean on!

My critique would be on font choice in the menu (specifically the description/mechanics of the items) - I struggled with it at that size/scale. I think its good for the title of the module, but just a bit too hard in the menu when surrounded.

Nit picky - only to make sure its found before release - Wandering is misspelt on the main title of the inside pages.

Thank you so much! I really appreicate that.

Honestly, I think I am going to rework most of font choices in it. I chose it all early and entirely ran out of time to get it right.

And thank you haha that would be embarassing

I conceptually love this one

I like the traveling Foghouse and this idea of packing up and moving your rooms. Fun concept to visualize and engage with.

The way you did the “hp” of all the different things, rooms and creatures was a bit confusing since it goes against what Fatherfog does: 1 Heart = 10 hp. You have different amount of hp per hearts for the different things, did I interpret that correctly? I’d prefer to keep it all uniform.

A little something funky with the coming and going’s table for the Busy day. Looks like an unfinished sentence “and only.” I love this table btw! So fun to see how the place changes. And pairing this with rolling for the travelers. The rule for the DUP. Lots of fun to be had there.

The Travellers a superr fun. I love how they all have a little something to them. I can imagine players latching on to certain ones and engaging with others when they need it. Gery might be my fave. For Ruda and Swalda you mention gold pieces and gp. You should change it to coin, since that what Fatherfog uses. There’s another mention to gp I think when you talk about the Proprietors*.

One thing that could  be fun is to work in some more adventure hooks or mystery with some of the landmarks to give it a bit more juice (there’s some stuff there but a bit more could help inspire some ideas). Kind of how the other entry titled A Coast Threaded by Fire by Spieroz did for the Coastal Encounters table.

I think this is a really cool fun and creative pamphlet with lots of fun to be had from the tons of NPC and interesting rooms and concept!

This is awesome stuff, thank you for the feedback. I will be keeping this in mind as I revise it. I think on the whole I want more weird flavour stuff and lighter mechanics but the big thing was the travelling foghouse dynamic so I am glad that was intriguing!

This is a wild, moving location that would easily become the highlight of an unrelated journey from point A to point B for any crew that survived to find themselves here.

Kudos for some interesting, novel ideas, like the hassle rating of keeping this place up.

I had a feeling that the Foghouses and things related to them in FatherFog were going to produce some really weird and fun ideas. This is one of the first!

Thank you so much! That is what I was hoping for, there is more I want out it so I am glad the core of it came through
