One of the best looking games of the jam so far. Really enjoyed my time with it though it took me a minute to understand, and even then I'm not sure if I played it correctly. lol Art style is gorgeous. Music was chill and enjoyable. Dinos are SUPER cute. UI and everything was very polished. Overall solid entry. Good job!
Wow u seriously jam packed this game with so many mechanics im so impressed. I love the artstyle, the soundtrack, the little vfx. There's so many details that give this game such charm. I honestly hope this game wins the jam it's so much fun I can play for hours, I just wish there was more upgrades to buy lmao.
This game is so cool. There are so many mechanics and details, I didn't understand the gameplay completely because this is such a big game.
Very good work!
This is such a cute game! Simple game loop that is easy to understand, and it does it very well. I did find it a bit difficult to move the dinos around - sometimes i would try to move a dino to a pen with more food, but they'd keep I guess colliding with the other dino and just saying "no" and then dying lol. The days were also super short, which was ok once I had played for a while and got a feel for how much food each dino needed (though it kind of incentivized not buying any more dinos so you could have enough time to keep the current ones alive), plus in the beginning I kept running out of time just reading each dino's description. These are all really minor though, and I thought this was such a fun game! The level of polish is incredible for the time period, and all the sound effects and animations were so effective. Great work, and congrats on a great game!
Thank yooou ! (Wow, week 7!! Congratulations!)
We've been working together on jams for a while now and we're starting to get into a routine, so we're able to take the time to polish the game properly! And yes, absolutely, there's definitely some balancing work to be done, especially regarding the timing of the days! In any case, if we need to tweak the game a bit after the jam, we might look into that!
Thanks again for all your feedback! ❤❤
I love it! Such a simple idea in incremental game is so satisfying, I cant stop playing
Haha, glad you're ABSOLUTELY ADDICTED!
Simple yet devilishly effective. The dynamic event system adds a real bonus to the experience. My only gripe is the readability—icons can be hard to see depending on their rotation, and elements like the dinosaurs are a bit too small. Overall, overall readability could be improved, but it’s a great game!
Very good game, animations is OP, everything polish so lovely, good strategic mechanics simple and intuitive, well done!!!
Thank you! ❤
I was a little confused on how to play, all the mechanics just came rushing onto me. I think an integrated tutorial would work great for this game. Loved the art!
Ah yes, the game is quite dense at the beginning! If we need to develop the game a bit more, we'll definitely rework the balancing! Thanks! ❤
This one is a bit overwhelming to me. I think that it could be improved by increasing the length of each day. 20 seconds is too short for meaningful decision making in my experience. Despite that though, it was pretty fun, and the presentation is really good! I just love how cute the dinosaurs are.
Yes, the timing is incredibly tight, especially when you're new to the game. It would be great if the experience were rebalanced and the length of the days varied to adjust the difficulty. Thanks for your feedback, by the way! ❤
Really really great concept and execution. My biggest issue is that fullscreening it made it too laggy to play.
I feel like I could easily spend a few hours playing something like these.
The low poly eggs also do something to my brain. I love them so much.
Really good job. So much polish here.
Oh thank you so much! We're so happy you can spend so much time on our game, it might give us some ideas for the future!
The game seems simple at first... until you realise you that you have to strategize to be able to earn enough money to pay the rent, which makes the game pretty fun.
By the way, the 3D models are very charming!
Yes, we're happy that from the little rules we accumulated during the jam, a rather strategic gameplay emerged in the end! We design day by day, testing the prototype, and we're quite pleased with the final result!
Oh, and thank you, I'm the one who did the 3D modeling :)
Thaaaanks! ❤✨
Fun and easy to pick up, and those 3D dinos are super impressive for a jam!
Great work 🦕
Thank you so much! We've been working as a team for a while now, so we're working very smoothly on our game jams today!
Really well-made! An incredible level of polish for a jam game. And quite fun too! It took some time to get used to the time-limit mechanic; initially felt quite rushed, especially while I was still learning how to play, but once I embraced it it was quite cool, needing to quickly pop down eggs everywhere to keep all my Rexes fed :)
Yes, the game is a bit difficult, especially at the beginning with the time limit. For example, we could make the days of the first week longer and then shorten them as the game progresses to balance the difficulty. Anyway, thanks for your feedback! ❤
What a banger, nice 3D mate it's impresive !!!!
Oh, thank you! I spent quite a bit of time on this 3D models!
A certified banger, looks amazing, super polished and fun
Thank you very much, chef!
Wow, amazing jam entry. Congrats!
I'm usually really bad at such games, but i enjoyed this one quite a bit. Not that I knew what I was doing, but it was fun. =)
Oh, we're so glad you liked it then!
Great job! The game feels really polished.
Thanks! Yes, I enjoy spending time making curty 3D models while my friend makes visual "skash skash" on texts
Very, very good! I really liked how it played and looked. Good luck with your submission!
Thank you ! We've been doing game jams together for a while now and it's always a pleasure!
Honestly, I really liked this game. I let my brother play it and he liked it a lot too. Could you rate my game?
Ah ah, glad your brother liked it! We'll try out as many games as possible, yes!
