I didn't make it super far, but the story is absolutely fantastic! how long did it take to write all that?
I did get a lot of fallout vibes from the bunkers and ready player one vibes with the crate housing.
Loved the one-armed droid :)

Thank you, i am really glad that you get the vibes and dont worry, its not about running though :) Yes it did take some time to write this, but i did not take track sadly, but i am sure with learning twine and planning all together nearly 40 hours.
Nice that you liked arnold, it was fun writing a small diva like him :D
Really interesting text based game, very heavy on writing for a quick game. Makes me think of choice of robots in the early phases. Really cool style, even if it is a niche genre, the fans exist and wait for more games like this!
Thank you, that feels like a great compliment that you thought about choice of robots. I am trying to improve the story and world telling, with lesser visuals or at least very simple visuals, so i got a bit carried away while writing, espaccily the Arnold Scenes and the Jam came in handy at the same time. I knew the niche is very small thats why i decided halfway to write in english and needed to start over, i hope the game will find a way to the people who like this genre. Thank you for playing and for your feedback :)
I liked the atmosphere of the game, I didn't find the theme yet, but I can imagine it would go stronger later in the story. The music didn't loop, so it stopped early in my playthrough. Nice story setup so far... gut gemacht ;)
Not quite my kind of game but the story is very interesting and well written. Well done! I find the text in the game page hard to read, you may want to change background\text color.
Interesting game. More like a visual novel/Choose your own adventure style game. But very nice writing. Thanks for the game. Ansonsten schließe ich mich anderen bei den Verbesserungsvorschlägen an :-)

For me this was like more a novel, not as much a game yet. Aside from the text, there seems to be not much else going on in the game, which tbh for me defeats the purpose of "playing" a game.
I also thought it was a bit strange when the UI doesn't scroll up to the beginning of a new page.
I hope you continue working in this and adds more visuals, sound effects and looping music 😆
Thanks for giving it a try. The problem with the UI/Scrollbar is fixed in the later Version but i agree, the First steps into the City where more reading for the Players, because the Game don’t communicate that the choices Matter. I will choose a better Part of the Game next time i submiting, where the Loop is more visible.
Thanks for the Feedback
Wow! The story is crazy good! A typical German guy saying his English is not good and then writing an excellent story with high-level vocabulary :) The music and aesthetics - everything is in harmony.
It would also be cool to add more visuals — some occasional art of what the hero sees, how someone looks, etc. Some interactivity would also be a nice spice for a text game! And maybe some sound effects to add depth to the events described in the text.
I would love to play the full release.
P.S. Please add an option to select German — I'm curious if I'm still able to read it :D
Thanks a lot. I will tell you a secret, i need to translate some words :D I agree with you, i already working on the sfx, there are some more now and i am researching something that i think would fit into the game.
The full release is not in range atm but i will add a new Version coming next week with small changes in the UI, Sounds, Backgrounds and the posibility for the Player to explore a small area of the Middle District and the System assignment inclueding one of 4 Jobs, access to the Terminals and, so i hope, the archiv access.
For the German Version, i planned to translate it at some point, because after the first nodes i startet writing directly in english without a german backup. After researching, the most players who seems to like text based twine adventures prefer an english version and for the sake of feedback i got along with this. I hope i survive this mentally :D
Thanks again for playing and the feedback, its nice to read that you enjoyed the Stroy.
Sounds like great plans ahead! Good luck with it :)
As creators of the game with not small amount of text in English that is not native for us as well - we know how it feels :D
The good part about English - it need much less manipulation with words based on the gender and case than our Languages! In our cases that allowed random generation of texts disregard of all such details. The only thing to care - plural singular. And looks like our monsters still in singular, lol
I appreciate any game which lets me sleep in and procrastinate, with or without the nagging of a one-armed junk droid.
You've clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the world building! The text is quite dense at times, which can be offset by changing visuals and such; rather than needing to describe every facet, it would help if the player could see Arnold or the apartment look like with their own eyes. Of course that's easier said than done, but even a static image would help draw the player into the story further. :)
Thank you for playing. The Visuals will be changing for the Background, i habe some characters in work for the first People you will meeting, together with a social system. For Arnold yes, he is a bit…special, which is why i am not sure wether to set images for him or not, mainly because i originally planned or tought that most players of a interactive fiction in twine, espaccily for people who might find my game interesting, prefer to imagine special characters for themselfe. But i will think of it (allttough my art”skills” are also very special) As for the text , i am polishing it, mostly because the german base text does not fit into the english translation.
Thanks for the feedback and Playing :)
Probably a litle bit too much text for this type of game but considering English is your second language the writing was very well done. Keep up the work.
Thank you for playing. I am currently polish the text step by step. Regarding the volume of text, yes there is very much at the beginning but as soon as the Intro is done, there will be less. My plan was, that the parts where the player will descorver the city, are a bit more detailed, that would only be at the first time discover to learn the world and city, although i will try to part it so that you dont have the feeling to be beaten by text.
Thanks for the feedback and playing.
I second (third?) the UI, the art was great though, music really fit the mood.
Would definitely play again after updates!
Great job
Very chill :D I think someone already mentioned the UI so I wont repeat that. Ansonsten sehr gutes Jamgame / Demo. Ich würde das nach einem Update nochmal spielen!
Nice submission. I'm looking forward to the updates.
Very chill. I love story focused games like this. When moving to another dialogue, it would help if the scroll bar reset position so it would be easier to read. If the background changed a bit as well, even if it was slight, like tone and colour, depending on where you went, I think that would go a long way too! Good job for a demo!
